    bench vacuum I think you guys are correct.....a bench vacuum. It does have good suction. Maybe I'll mount it on my workbench and use it. Thanks Hoover 300 for the tips on getting the fan off...you were exactly right.

    how to remove fan ?

    My latest vacuum is all done except for rewiring the motor and possibly installing new brushes. I can't get the fan off. I removed the reverse thread nut and have a shaft with a flat end. How does this come off ? I did apply Kroil to the area where the fan meets the shaft. I'm afraid of damaging...

    How to clean a woven fabric hose

    I recently bought a strange vacuum and I'm in the process of cleaning/polishing. It has a fabric hose...can this be cleaned ? If so, how can I do it without damaging it ? I'll post pics of the finished product when I'm done.....let's see who can identify it.

    Wheel restoration I fix broken wheels by gluing the parts you have with JB Weld epoxy and covering the chips and missing pieces with Sugru.
