    Hi! I just bought a Eureka model 1945, and I was wondering what you could tell me about the "5.5 High Performance" decal. Was it designed to be removed by the buyer? (If so, how would I go about it If not, how would I go about restoring the stripes?) Thanks! Nick

    Can square end caps be transplanted this way? Would it be possible to take a new hex-end brush roller and transplant square ends this way?

    The hose port cover The hose port cover was salvaged from an unknown parts machine in Oregon. There's a random hole in the handle cover.

    I just gave my Eureka 260EK a new bag and a polishing with Wright's Silver Polish. The serial number is 75059, and was made by Eureka Williams. When was my favorite Eureka made? Nick

    Hi! I just bought a DVC #2371 vinyl bag from eBay. I think it's either a Eureka or a Hoover bag. It's scheduled to come next week. My question: is this a Eureka bag or a Hoover bag?

    Yep! It's all chrome! It's all chrome. And, it looks like the clear plastic was already gone from the cover before I got it (I had to give it a very thorough cleaning)

    Thanks! Thanks! Out of curiosity, when was that from? It looks like that test was from 1979. Also, any ideas why commercial vacuums are so often orange?
