    What vacuum is this

A friend of mine was telling me about a vacuum his aunt had--a large canister/tank, with a geometric top, which would light up when on. When attachments were plugged in, they'd light up also. Do you have any ideas what it is?

What did I buy? (All I know is that it's a Eureka)

I just bought a mystery Eureka. There were two labels underneath (one stacked on top of the other)--one said it was a 1489B, the other (underneath) says it's a 2087A. The date stamp is 1980. It has a weird dent in the hood (now covered by a sticker). All the parts look like they're the same age.

    Eureka Hose Port Models?

Out of curiosity, does anyone know when the last Hose-Port Eureka uprights were made? These newspaper ads are from 1969-70 and show a couple Hose Port models (the one from 8/25/69 was from The Bon Marche, a mid-range department store, and the other is from House of Values)

    Replica bags?

Hi! I was wondering if anybody made reproduction bags for the following machines: -> Hoover 26 -> Hoover 115 -> Hoover 61 -> Eureka 260 I'd really like to put something a bit custom on my 26--like a slightly darker brown version, or maybe something in red and black plaid, kinda like a Kirby...

    Hoover 281

That is awesome! Awesome! I've got the slightly earlier 26, and the Home Depot did a wonderful job matching the paint. I love your Underwood typewriter also!

    Electrikbroom questions?

Hi! I got my first Electrikbroom yesterday, and have a few questions. (1) Did the Electrikbroom come in brown? (2) Is the serial number a date code? How is it read? (3) How do I clean the air intakes? (4) What else can you tell me?

Some neat Hoover model 700 upgrades (and a question)

3D Printed Brushrolls? Would you be able to 3D print a brushroller for these machines?

    Hoover 700 cracked handle

As it turns out, I had the winning bid on a replacement bodyshell. Now, is there any way to adapt a Convertible brushroll (only about 1/8" too wide) to fit into it? (I'm thinking prying off the endcaps...)

    Hoover 700 cracked handle

It's the connector part that's cracked It's the right half of the connector-fork that's cracked.

    Hoover 700 cracked handle

Hi! I have a Hoover 700 Special with a cracked handle. How would I go about taking it off to replace with one from a parts machine? JB Weld didn't work to mend it.

    JC Penney Dial a Matic?

Hi! I just bought a JC Penney Dial-a-Matic model 2860, but it has a Hoover logo on it (it says JC Penney underneath). Were some sold with both logos? Does anyone have a round JC Penney logo to put in? Nick

    Convertible roller in 450?

Hi Is it possible to jerry-rig a brush roller from a Hoover Convertible to fit in a Hoover 450? It feels like removing the endcaps would be key.

    Hoover 450 bottom plate?

Does anyone know where I can find the bottom plate for a Hoover 450? Will a Convertible one be able to be jerry-rigged? Will a convertible brush roller work?

    Eureka Commercial?

Hi! I just bought a Eureka C2094. It has a slightly wobbly handle--would tightening the bracket on the base help it? When was this model produced? It's red, and it has a red bag (it looks like the bag that came with it may have been black.) Nick

    Eureka 5.5 High Performance Decal?

It is that decal It is that decal! I'm glad to know that it's not meant to be removable. The part that came off seemed to be plastic with adhesive (like thicker Scotch tape)
