I am not sure if anyone has asked before, but does anyone have a diagram for the C152E? I think I may have it correct but I just want to check just to make sure everything is wired correctly (I don't want to damage it). Thanks in advance!

Kirby Ultimate G power cord color change

Thanks Thanks to everyone who replied. I am going to get the black OEM cord because the customer says that she doesn't care what color, as long as it works. Can't argue with that!

Kirby Ultimate G power cord color change

Why did Kirby "discontinue" the ash gray color for the DE? I tried getting an OEM cord for the DE but they only come in black now? What's up with that?

Remove Electrolux Model 1205 Bag Chamber

No The plastic sides do slide off, it takes some force (and willpower) to push them out. Take a screw driver and a hammer to push the side tabs outwards towards the front of the cleaner. This is kind of a barbaric way of doing it, but it works. There are no screws actually holding the top and...

    Incinerating vacuum?

Interesting From a design perspective, it would SEEM plausible to have a contained and sealed combustion/incineration chamber, however we also have to figure out if the dust and debris continues to burn inside the chamber, almost creating a hazard that could damage components and the user. I...

    Hoover Portapower Disposable Bags

Hoover Hoover still makes them. Check your local Ace or Hardware Hank. I think they're the allergen white bags anyway.

Are you interested in some rare crap? Well you know I am!

I have one. It's green. We used to have a blue one just like that, but we got rid of it a long time ago. My green one is close to brand new, hasn't seen much use from me nor the original owner.

    Polishing aluminum

Huskyvacs Use a stitched buffing wheel and a loose sewn wheel (one for coarse polishing and the other for fine buffing). Find a grinder that is at least 6", or use a drill with a 3" wheel w/ an adaptor.

Clean Paint/Scuff Off Plastic & Rubber Trim

Use a clean, dry microfiber towel or rag and apply isopropyl alcohol and let it sit for a few seconds and rub until it disappears. As far as I know, it does not damage any plastic. It also works on rubber trims as well. DO. NOT. USE. GOOF OFF!!! It will BURN the plastic and it's a mess to work...

Black & Decker "The Collector" AC8000 Handheld Vac
