Sptyks...You are talking a load of tripe. To be perfectly honest, I wouldn’t recommend either machine. Miele's cylinder cleaners are much better than their upright model, I think the Miele upright has more cons than pros in comparison. I say if you want bagless, go for a Dyson, they do it...

That “powerhouse” model was made by Panasonic. Kirby is good for cleaning lots of open carpet, but it is a nightmare around furniture, putting on the different tools require turning the machine off first, who has the time for that. Loud, heavy, clunky, outdated, too expensive...

    "Before you waste your money on a Miele upright vacuum you should watch this video then make up your mind"   I see, but it is without a doubt the Miele is more versatile than the clunky noisy old Kirby.

I don't think Hoover UK really offered dedicated hardfloor tools with their cylinder cleaners back in the day, just combi floor tools and power heads. Most people had carpet and still do really.

I have never seen a Hoover with a hard floor nozzle like that.

I think this is a very nice thing to do but I really don’t think there is a market for it, you have to look at this from a business point of view and not so much a personal one.

Going from the mid 70s to the early 80s... There were these two models, available in several colours, although, most commonly known in black and orange...The earlier, "Starlight Junior" and later, "Junior de luxe" were the final redesign of the Hoover Junior, before going to the Turbopower...

I think the SEB228 cleans better and manoeuvres more easily. It comes on our Complete C3 Electro Plus...The old S5 revolution used to come with the SEB236, it was not as nice to use in my opinion.

Very nice, looks like the US and UK model are pretty much the same aside from some minor spec differences and different tools.

Wrong, Dyson was before, WAY before...The Fantom is the carbon copy, if you like...Look which one is still in business. ;)
