    I took one of the later model power nozzles (N106F) and converted it for use on the older canisters. It now has a LED bulb, and rocker switch. I do have several older power nozzles as well.

    The object in nine is a thermometer used for overheating. Someone knowledgeable can bypass them, but they are cheap to buy. When I get on my pc, I can lookup the number for it, Although the armature looks rough. Might be easier to get another motor.

    Electrolux Sidekick: What lube to use?

    I usually use a Teflon based dry lube for that. One advantage, it does not attract dirt as much as a petroleum based lube. There are many different brands, but you should be able to find one easily.

    Rusted Eureka Wands.

    I have used Evapo-rust before for my wands. In the past, I used a section of gutter to put the wands in. Cover with plastic to reduce evaporation. You need something long and shallow to put the tubes in. Even a PVC pipe with caps on will work. Walmart, Harbor Freight, hardware stores and others...

    New User: Electrolux 1205 Help Needed!

    The top cover for the 1205 is held in place by screws. Two of them are accessible via the exhaust port. Take them out and you will have access to the switch. Don't bother testing, just replace it. They are very inexpensive to get.

    only the elbow was sprayed on the PN. Replacement elbows for it are either black or beige(cream colored). The PN was converted from a Renaissance/Guardian connector to the older type.
