    My Dyson DC14 Animal

Nice Dyson's citroenbx! That DC01 looks factory fresh! Although that DC07 looks a bit filthy but I'm sure it works just fine! Odd colour for a Dyson but I've never had any of the early 'Allergy' models. I've always had an Animal or a Standard type of Dyson vacuum cleaner.

Welcome to Vacuumland dyson1991! Your not the only one who likes Dyson's! I love them. Yours look almost brand new!!! Here's my Dyson DC14 Animal, 7 years old and never had a problem. DC14 is my favourite Dyson and favourite vacuum of all time! :D (It's a bit filthy yes inside the bin yes I know)

    Hoover Jive SJ48DWB6 001

    Hoover Jive SJ48DWB6 001

I did consider looking at the Hoover Jove series. This one above in particular as I have a cat. Although I don't like the look of the Jove cleaners, they look more like an iron than anything else! Seem quite bulky as well. So in the end I went for the Jive I the end, also prefer the name 'Jive'...

    Hoover Jive SJ48DWB6 001

Indeed they are! Very handy indeed little handhelds. For 4.8 my Hoover Jive can pick up some pretty big particles (as long as they go through the nozzle), I was very surprised for such a small little thing. Heard some good things about Black & Decker handhelds. Apparently can tackle a lot of...

    Hoover Jive SJ48DWB6 001

As my GCSE results were fantastic (better than expected with 8 GCSEs Cs and above!) I treated myself to a new cleaner. It's a Hoover Jive handheld cleaner running 4.8V at 50W. It's in a purple-ish blue colour, but in person the bin looks more purple. It's great! I think the run time is 10...

    Dyson brush motors

If it's Floor Head motors keep cutting out then it's likely down to two things: - A complete motor failure/burnout - A cut-out or a break in the circuit somewhere in the electrical system The DC24 is the one that apparently fails more than the DC25 in terms of it's cleaner head. It maybe...

    Dyson brush motors

What model? DC24 or DC25? Stuff like the DC14 and previous do not have brush bar motors as you know. I maybe able to help Tayyab! :)

    Against the odds.

Very true. I suppose every vacuum brand isn't perfect. Hoover, Dyson, Kirby etc.

    Against the odds.

I just don't take well to criticism and stuff. I can't help it! :( I've just been attached to Dyson ever since I was little. Again, I struggle with life.

    Against the odds.

Agree with Dysonman1 on this. Read the book carefully. James had hard time developing his vacuum which no one else could. All he had as a shed outside Bristol, and 3-4 other people occasionally helping him with his idea of a bagless cyclonic vacuum. Anyways, enough arguing people, i've had enough.

    What do YOU consider Vintage..

Vintage - In my view anything that is over 20-25 years old and not up to date standards. Such as: -Hoover Junior -Hoover Senior -Hoover Dustette -Very First Dyson DC01s -Hoover Constellation -1981 Numatic Henry The list goes on, but those are a few examples. -

    Vacuum Cleaner Pixel Art

Nice! I kinda guested them, well the Dyson's i definitely did! But the Hoover Senior is slightly confusing to me. The Hoover Junior looks similar to it. Someone give me a lecture on vintage Hoover vacuum cleaners about the Junior and the Senior, differences and design etc. The only vacuums i...

Don't know why but i really like this Hoover :) Never heard of the 'Aria' before? Is this the only colour it came in when first released?

    Against the odds.

Now Now! Hang on one second. Vax - they copy Dyson, they do not work the same AT ALL. Poorly built and designed and not ergonomic to use. Where as with Dyson machines, they are easy to use and maintain. Powerful and always fun to use. But, Dyson's do NOT lose suction when full. Just look at...

Which Vacuum Would Be Best for my School?

Numatic? In a commercial environment, get a Numatic. A Henry, or a James. I know i love Dyson and all that but Dyson cleaners are not designed for commercial environments. Where as Numatics are.

    Against the odds.

(If you don't like Dyson then leave now, you won't like this) Hi all, This popped through the door for me, a kinda late birthday present. I've always wanted this book, and now i have it! Against the Odds - James Dyson. An Autobiography. Gonna start reading it as soon as! There are some...

    An argument against Bagless

Most people i know empty their bagless vacuum outside in the wheelie bin. With Dyson vacuums however, it's just a push of a button and the trap door at the bottom opens. Just close the lid on the bottom of it on the clean side. No mess, and easy. Clean and hygienic. Dyson started doing it on the...

    What's Your Favorite Bagless Vacuum?

Best bagless? Well that's easy - The Dyson DC14 is the best bagless. As a whole though Dyson vacuums are the best bagless! :)
