Yippee...
Another Chinese company sucks up an American company (no pun intended.)
Now TTI owns Royal, Dirt Devil, Hoover, and Oreck.
I wonder what company is next? Anything but Kirby!!
Nice find, only $5, I wish we had those great deals around here!
Looks like it should clean up nicely, get some chrome polish and it should shine like new!
I have two Convertibles here, in need of a good home and a spa day. Both are 80's models, plastic base.
First one: Model U4411, two row brushroll (no beater bars), headlight sometimes works, one hole in bag.
Second one: Model U4119, beater brushroll, steel lined fan chamber, two holes in...
Ok, has anyone had this problem before? When you go to adjust your post-1984 Kirby and push the top button, it slips and goes down more than one notch. I have this problem with my Heritage II and my G4. Is there any way to fix this and is this a common problem?
Here's what I think...
Best bagless: Probably my GE/Eureka (only bagless vacuum I own)
Best bagged: Kirby G4 all the way!
Best upright: Any Kirby!
Best canister: Kenmore 116.22312202
Best handheld: Royal Prince 501
Best suited: Kirby G4
I've had this idea!
Yes, a vac company by collectors would be great. We all know the best, and we can make the best types for each situation, whether it be upright, tank/canister, handheld, dirty air, clean air, etc...
Give me anything with Honda on it!
But seriously, I really don't have a preference, so long as it doesn't suck up gas and I don't need power everything!
I fix computers, electronics, and vacuums for family, friends, etc.
My Grandparents actually pay me to vacuum their cars out But my parents don't, even though I do most of the vacuuming.
I like pretty much anything with a plug or battery. I have lots of old computer and electronic equipment. I fix computers and other electronics for family and friends, in addition to vacuums :D . It's fun to tinker with things!
