    Kirby items needed

I'm looking for a few different things for my Kirby's...   1) Handi-Butler for either Tradition or Heritage (only need drive unit, flexible shaft, and buffing wheels) 2) Dusting brush, crevice tool, upholstery nozzle, utility brush, and big wand for a Heritage 3) "Shaved" rug nozzle with...

    Kirby Tradition

Yeah, I will try harder, but without a buffing wheel and bench grinder, Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish is as far as I can get.

    Kirby Tradition

Well, I finally got a Tradition, this one has the shakeout bag, Lexan fan, headlight lock but Omega switch, and the attachments. Now all I need is one with the more common Style 1 setup!   Thanks Michael (kirbyeureka95)!

    What do YOU consider Vintage..

To me... ...anything older than 20 years is vintage, and anything over 50 years is antique.

Where to find a Kirby Omega

Check ebay, and ask around here in the Super Market forum. You never know what you may find :)

    Kirby Instant Suds

Instructions Standard affair here. It mentions Scuttle, unfortunately I don't have any vintage Scuttle.

    Kirby Instant Suds

Under the cap It would be absolutely criminal to even take that seal off!   LOL just kidding, but I think I'll leave it there.

    Kirby Instant Suds

Anyone have a bottle of old Instant Suds? I have two, one about 1/4 full and the other is BRAND NEW!   The unopened bottle is from 1982, and the other is from 1984 (it's missing the label though)

Could I possibly get a better picture of the Tradition?

    recent vacuum sightings on TV

Note: The vac in Mr. Mom was a Classic, not a Classic Omega, as the Omega had a scuff plate around the rear and a horizontal plug, where "Jaws" didn't have a scuff plate and the plug was vertical.   Also, a rebranded Rainbow E was shown on Everybody Loves Raymond "Humm Vac" (2001.) They...

    recent vacuum sightings on TV

In Everybody Loves Raymond...   ...Season 8, Episode 10, "Jazz Records" (2003). A 1950's Hoover vacuum (Model 63 maybe) behind a table in the basement, near the stairs.

How much for the Kirby Tradition in picture 13? Also should note there are one too many http protocols in your link, here's a working link that doesn't redirect to G+ homepage.     http://plus.google.com/photos/112500451315898765411/albums/5912055120493074113?authkey=CJ7ZwJLNpfvbHA

    NIB Kirby Heritage II

Yes, it looks like a late '84 or early '85 model, as it has the metal zipper on the bag and anti-injury holes in the hose.

    question for kirby people

I always use knurled belts in any Kirby since the Heritage. For some reason, both my Kirby Heritage 84 and Heritage II will burn through the flat belts very quickly.
