Yeah, I will try harder, but without a buffing wheel and bench grinder, Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish is as far as I can get.

Well, I finally got a Tradition, this one has the shakeout bag, Lexan fan, headlight lock but Omega switch, and the attachments. Now all I need is one with the more common Style 1 setup!   Thanks Michael (kirbyeureka95)!

To me... ...anything older than 20 years is vintage, and anything over 50 years is antique.

Check ebay, and ask around here in the Super Market forum. You never know what you may find :)

Instructions Standard affair here. It mentions Scuttle, unfortunately I don't have any vintage Scuttle.

Under the cap It would be absolutely criminal to even take that seal off!   LOL just kidding, but I think I'll leave it there.

Anyone have a bottle of old Instant Suds? I have two, one about 1/4 full and the other is BRAND NEW!   The unopened bottle is from 1982, and the other is from 1984 (it's missing the label though)

Yes, it looks like a late '84 or early '85 model, as it has the metal zipper on the bag and anti-injury holes in the hose.

I always use knurled belts in any Kirby since the Heritage. For some reason, both my Kirby Heritage 84 and Heritage II will burn through the flat belts very quickly.
