    Panasonic uprights on Walmart

Durango159 I see and get the point. One of my best jobs ever was working in a Vacuum Store. Had fun with customers, enjoyed repairing Vacs, selling Vacs, accesories and so forth. The day was never, NEVER, EVER BORING......aN 8 HOUR DAY was like a short walk in the park. Some people think that...

    Panasonic uprights on Walmart

Panasonics on Walmart.com That absolutley Infuriates me.....The Panasonic line is good, but why are they selling at Wally-Mart. There is no way the Independent dealers can out sell them at those prices. The commercial unit is like $189.00. THe mark-up is low at the that rate. Like I said and...

    Wally World

"And unfortunately with the economy these days, they are turning more towards the cheap bagless uprights :( ." I could not have said it better myself. And it goes without saying. Consumers buy throw away cars, throw away everything. Remember in the 60's and early 70's when the first Japanese...

I noticed WalMart in Canada is now advertising Lux Vacuums. Only certain models. Now that I have seen this it strenghtens my belief that the Vacuum industry as a whole is in the Dumps so to speak. The mom&pop shops are a thing of the past...:(

    PN Canister vs Bypass Upright

Durango159 "Many Clean Air Design uprights have the air path on the far side opposite the belt." Uuuuummmmmm..this is why you make multiple passes while Vacuuming the carpet, so the power head does not go over the same spot. It all evens out in the end even though the machine has air flow on...

What innovations have made Vacuum Cleaners clean better and what are the best examples of these?

......have made Vacuum Cleaners clean better......... Correct me if I'm wrong. But my 2 cents on this subject is this; 1)Vacuums over the years have really not become that much more powerfull. And how much power do you need, Old Kirbys, Luxes, Hoovers and you name it were just fine. 2)THe...

    Flush Mount Vacuum

Inter Vac If somebody wants to get a Central Vac installed in an existing home the InterVac is a great idea and does not cost a whole lot. Sometimes installs on existing homes can be very tricky, like cutting drywall and finding stuff in the way. Ill fitting couplers and the list goes on...

    Flush Mount Vacuum

Seriously what do you guys think of this Vacuum, it's flush mount and built in the USA. I think it's a great little unit, no need to put it back into the closet. The best alternative to the conventional Central Vacuum, that needs all the plumbing. http://www.intervacdesign.com/

    worst vacuum

Worst Vacuum Not sure if I have to mention any names here. But I would say any Vac that's on the low end. Like all the Garbage that the ~Box stores~ sell, for say $39.95 to say whatever, Gimmick Vacuums etc......etc......
