Well when Hoover and Dirt Devil got into TTi's hands, the cheapening got worse. This goes with Bissell's downfall from the early-to-mid 2000's.

I think Hoover has the curse of reusing parts.

What about the Hoover Elites and Bissell Powerglides Zach? Those are a great choice for vacuum buyers, even for you.

Rob... The blue bagless machine is the one I used to own when I was a little kid (my first bagless vacuum, and I was only 4 years old). Died in 2003 and got replaced with a Smart Vac. Went through Kenmores within 2007-2009 and got a Windtunnel and Powerforce Turbo in 2011.

I remember the W2 and Z700 from when I was 9 years old. The self-cleaning filter sounded like a nice innovation, but nowadays, it is a flawed design.

It's nice that Bissell went back to using bags for a nice change. Could this machine be the replacement for the Powerglide?
