The Triple Crown is from the mid-1990s, and the hose and attachments are upgrades that were introduced during the 75th Anniversary Edition model, mid-2000s. The upgraded direct-connect PN and clasped attachments were not original to the Triple Crown, but the were included with the one I bought.

I have one. I own a DC27, and it's a two-motor vacuum, at least in the US. It's very different from the DC14, which has a clutch and a spiral brush roll. It's less aggressive than the DC28, but it's a perfectly decent vacuum. I don't think I'd ever advise someone against it if they didn't...

This machine is the nicest Triple Crown I've ever seen. I finally took some photos of it yesterday because I had to take it apart and clean it after Matt's maid tried to install the cone upside down and then used it. So, you can imagine how that turned out.
