    Filter queen

Triple Crown You can buy a hose from Filter Queen or ebay, since u have a good pn. The black cover signifies that your machine is a newer Triple Crown. If the prior owner used genuine cones, the motor should be pristine and have decades of life left to it. For what it's worth, my OR charge...

New additions. Five of them for this thread.

Mieles The Miele are kind of obstructed from view in the group pic, so here they are together. I don't think I'll add anymore for a while unless something pops up that I have to have. If I do add anything, it'll be a new Silver Moon to replace the one I had and gave away to a nurse.

#5: Simplicity SYMPNT Symmetry Premium This was a new purchase from the Simplicity Factory Store in St. James. This is the TOL upright in the Symmetry line that is about to replacing the 7-series, which is going to be discontinued. John has a 7-series that I think is an amazing machine, so I...

#3: Electrolux EL7070A Ultraone This was a purchase from a fellow collector. I don't think it's too common; I never had seen one before this one. It's fantastic, if anyone ever happens upon one.

#2: Miele S444i White Pearl This also was from ebay, in excellent condition. The finish on the White Pearl is absolutely gorgeous, and mine unfortunately has a few nicks, but not enough to really bother me. These are becoming rare, so I wanted to jump on this one to replace the perfect one...

Hey, everyone, I'm not going to do separate threads for all of these new vacuums. All in one this time. To start with, here is a photo of the whole collection, minus a few vintage machines in the basement and the central vac in the garage.

    Anyone seen the Dyson DC26?

It would b great for someone who has a small area to clean with very low rugs or none at all. When I think of other vacuums could be appropriate for a space suitable for the DC26, the first one that occurs to me is the Miele ART, interestingly. If dyson had made the machine a Motorhead with an...

    Anyone seen the Dyson DC26?

Disappointed I usually really like Dysons. I bought this machine the day it was released and am pretty certain I was the first one in the region to have one. It was the first one sold from a Midwest Best Buy. I had to have it. But, I wasn't happy with the little turbine head. And, its tiny...

    Another new addition: Simplicity Snap

Upcoming updates You know no individual vacuum gets much of a workout in my house. I can tell u now from testing it that it works really impressively. However, I went shopping for the Snap for a friend, my own being being an unplanned purchase cuz I liked it so much. Vic has a shedding dog and...

    Another new addition: Simplicity Snap

Compact power nozzle I think the compact power nozzle is great. This is my first experience with it. It cleans about like a Miele 217, which is excellent for a smaller PN. BTW, if you want to replace your Kenmore with the Riccar version of the Snap, it's called the Pizzazz. The color is...

I finally cried "Uncle!" on the garage vacuum.

It's going to be exhausted to the outside and it has a muffler, so I don't think it'll be too loud. Also, it's not a loud central vacuum anyway. I bet it won't be any louder than the Hoover GUV. I'm sure it won't be as quiet as I'd like, but it'll work, and that's all I really want at this...

    Another new addition: Simplicity Snap

All the Simplicities and Riccar (minus the garage vac) Except for the the central vac in the garage, here is my updated complete Simplicity/Riccar collection. I don't think I'll get anything else for a while unless they come out with a new model or I come upon one of the TOL clean-air uprights...

    Another new addition: Simplicity Snap

Simplicity has had the Jack and Jill compact and subcompact, respectively, canisters for a while. They introduced a TOL compact with a power nozzle called Snap. I went to the vacuum museum/outlet store to pick up my central vac for the garage and to buy a vacuum for a friend who lost his job...
