    What Vac Is This??

Hey guys I am wondering what you can tell me about this vac? I haven't seen this one before. It appears that instead of a plug on the cord, it screws into a light socket. Obviously judging by that it's been around for quite some time, as well as the amount of "patina" it has. I have 2 pics I...

Jason, I knew you would like the fact Ryan & I have matching machines!I was actually thinking that as I was buying this one. That was the biggest reason I bought it was to have matching machines. Love the look of this Hoover

Middle Hoover I love the middle model! It was the vacuum my mom had when I was born & is the vac that started my love of vacuums. My grandmother had the same model & bought one for my mom too. I would really like to find one for my collection someday.

I remember a similar model being sold in WalMart in the 80's with plastic wands & a headlight. Recently there was a discussion here about them. I believe someone said that they were made by Ryobi.

    Quietest Vacuum

Hmm I think the Electrolux Model G is tops for quiet. Also some Panasonic uprights are fairly quiet. I think it was Panasonic that even had a " Library quiet" series. Although I doubt they could have actually been used in a library full of people. LOL
