    Oreck Filing for Chapter 11

That's rather wrong and rude to say something to a company like that no matter what they produce or make. Oreck's are very decent vacuums when used for what they are designed for. My mom worked at a Red Roof Inn and all they used were Oreck's. My mothers health has recently declined (Breast...

    "I Love My Hoover"

I really liked the "Nobody does it like you" with the singer. It was a good one.

    New Eureka Commercial Vacuum

Well Ill be. Thanks Dan, the other reason I was asking though was on the old Eureka website before they changes their logo they used to have a link for Eureka Commerical vacuums. Ever since their new site I've never seen one (maybe a little ocd thing I guess). I was just curious if they still...

    New Eureka Commercial Vacuum

So while browising on Ebay I came across this Eureka Commercial Vacuum. I remember when Eureka had the yellow and black ones that were basically a Sanitaire but I was wondering if Eureka still makes a Sanitaire but with their name on it. I will supply a link to the listing so you can magnify...

    Panny Puke fest...

I have a couple family members who not necessarily abuses vacuums but forgets about general maintenance. I had a cousin that lived with my aunt for awhile and my cousin had bought a Kirby Sentria. After just a couple years use the machine looked like it had been through hell and back. The bags...

I have heard of the Amway Cleartrak I have never owned one though. The Hoover commercial empower yes Ive seen it too. Its basically the same as the domestic Empower just turned black and orange with a three prong cord. As far as the other Ive heard of them too but don't remember ever seeing one...

Dont see this every day at the Goodwill

Now that's a score! My Goodwill NEVER has any vacuums and I would bet they will never have anything this good. Like Compamac said, even without the hose and PN you could still sell that for a pretty penny. Are you going to keep it?

    Kirby Help!!!

I should also add I did not undo any wires other than replacing the headlight bulb. The only wires I undid was to take the power cord away from the power plant.

    Kirby Help!!!

I was taking apart my Kirby Ultimate G Diamond Edition to do some routine cleaning, and as I was putting it back together I tested it out and it wont turn on. I have no idea whats wrong or why it wont turn back on. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I love this vacuum a lot and I want to...

    ORECK

There is a line in their where the ceo says something about "striking the balance of holding onto loyal customers who like older Oreck models while drawing in a younger generation of buyers." Does anyone here remember back in about 2008-2009 when Oreck started re-designing their models? I...

    SSS Twin Power Vac Upright

I think $65 would be good. If not you could always try to have them come down maybe ten dollars. It seems to be an Electrolux copy. SSS and Power Flite seem to copy Sanitaires the best. They look just like them unlike the Perfects and Oreck-like Sanitaires. I would say go for it. It would be a...

    Hoover "Task-Vac"

@strictlybojack thanks for the link! I appreciate that and i will look into it. I really want to replace the oreck with something about the same and the Rubbermaid one is the one i will probably go for. No matter what any vacuum will have its drawbacks, but i do feel the rubbermaid model will...

    Hoover "Task-Vac"

@strictlybojack What is the Hoover Clean and Light compared to an oreck? Are they better at deep cleaning, better brushroll etc. Im just curious how they are compared to an oreck. Ive been thinking about getting one. Are they easy to maneuver? I clean houses and some have excessive furniture...

    Hoover "Task-Vac"

hoover clean and light yeah i have seen that before aswell i was just amazed they already used the t series as a new commercial machine. I wonder if its part of a new line or these are to make up for them discontinuing the Elites.

    Hoover "Task-Vac"

Looks like Hoover has added two different models to their commercial line up labeled as task vac. One of them is their Oreck version and the other two are windtunnel t series. I wonder if Hoover is coming out with any other models? http://hoover.com/search/?q=taskvac&x=0&y=0

    Samsung Vacuums

I just noticed that if you look at their upright it has some Bissell qualities to it, like the turbo nozzle, the base some, and Bissells combo dusting/upholstery nozzle. I wonder who makes it. http://www.samsung.com/levant/consumer/home-appliances/vacuum-cleaner/upright-type/VCU3346S31/TWL

    New Hoover SteamVac Model

Compilatation of overstock parts bagintheback that thought came across my mind too. I also dont like how those tanks look on there, it looks like they cut out a lot of plastic to help make it lighter. Hopefully its as good as the classic style which i still have and love. Its pretty awsome.
