    HEPA Bag Opinions, Please

Unless they have some sort of odor eliminator and not just covering up the smell with perfume.. For example, I've tried putting Eucalyptus on a cotton ball and sucking it up into the bag in the past....and it ends up being mixed with the bag smell.. The best thing I've found is this..say you...

    HEPA Bag Opinions, Please

I've never been able to fill one to be honest. They last so freaking long without losing much suction. By that I mean, when I used paper, you could see noticeable suction loss as you filled the bag... with the HEPA bags, at least the ones I use, I see none. You know like back in the day when you...

    HEPA Bag Opinions, Please

So you don't mind if the bag chamber gets dirty using paper (even though the vacuum is sealed?) That would bug me. Those nooks and crannies are a pain to clean. You are absolutely right. Those bags should fit tightly on and have a gasket. Luckily, with mine I have to lay the vacuum down on its...

    HEPA Bag Opinions, Please

My only exception for using paper backs is back a LONG time ago, on Ebay, I bought a pack of 100 4 play paper bags for my Epic 6500 for like $36.. that vacuum now gets used strictly in my laundry room for suction only... so the only thing that goes in the bag is laundry lint and the occasional...

    HEPA Bag Opinions, Please

I would never use paper...but it's also important that the bag has a gasket...No leaks.. Example: I used to have a Kenmore progressive canister...and the bags weren't designed with a gasket because I think there was one on the bag collar itself... but it was a crappy design and dust leaked...

Just used my Home Depot Hoover Turbo Scrub Again.

Had it almost 3 years now. I remember when I bought it it was $129 but ended up getting $30 off that. I think this is my favorite carpet cleaner EVER.. It's so simply designed...I think it's Hoover's BOL. It's not on their website but I'm not sure if they make this model specifically for home...

    Bernina 6100C Motor +(?)

My Cirrus... which is almost identical to this...One time a few years ago I noticed a burning smell (very slight) but the sound was normal and the suction was there... I changed the bag because it had been a few months... changed the HEPA and it went away.. I also discovered that if the onboard...

Rainbow With Wesselwerk EBK340 Power Nozzle

that's the SAME PN my rainbow came with (gold 2 speed) and I rarely ever have to change the belt on it... but I think the PN you put on is better..especially for airflow (from what I've read)

My Cirrus CR-79 Handle is breaking

Got the handle on...I didn't realize this was designed slightly differently...My old one had holes on both sides of the handle... this one didn't. There 2 plastic pieces that fit through the hole and went to the other side on the old one...with this one, the screws just screw in once you've got...

My Cirrus CR-79 Handle is breaking

got the part today... and it's the handle only... nothing else.. No screws.. .I saved the old screws, which is fine..I can use those... the problem is there are a couple of cracked plastic pieces that the screw goes into...I have no way to connect this without rigging something

My Cirrus CR-79 Handle is breaking

I ended up ordering the handle only...$15 w free ship... I took the handle apart. Waiting for part to get here. Only $15. I'm assuming that part comes with all the screws, etc I need? Here's what it looks like with the handle off.

My Cirrus CR-79 Handle is breaking

Thanks... I'll figure out what to do...the vacuum itself is GREAT... they advertise that there are metal parts where they matter (in areas that get used a lot) I guess they didn't think that the force of gripping the handle and pushing it back/forth, turning it...isn't a critical part? LOL.. I...

My Cirrus CR-79 Handle is breaking

Ok... can you link me? Also, the on/off switch is ON the handle...would something have to be wired?

My Cirrus CR-79 Handle is breaking

So this Novemeber I will have had this vacuum 5 years. When I bought it I would told to never pick it up by the handle...so I've been super careful to never do that...but even still, using it today, I noticed the handle kept getting looser and I could see it trying to come apart from side to...

A little pet peeve I have...

I've seen a few posts on here over the years of someone mentioning "shake out" bags or something like that and I too can't even imagine that's still even a thing.. Especially since some direct air machines use disposable bags...I mean, Kirby is direct air, right? It uses disposable HEPA bags

Is it worth getting a rainbow?

Well you can actually put "too much" water...but you can use MORE water before reaching the "too much" threshold...and more water is much better than not enough.

Is it worth getting a rainbow?

YES.... Fill it above the dome with water maybe 1/2 inch... I've been doing this a long time...I always thought the essential oil in the water would help the water in addition to smelling good... When I've seen videos in the past of people using their rainbow I can tell watching it run they...

Is it worth getting a rainbow?

I do love mine... A gold 2 speed. I don't grow tired of using it because over the years I've just figured out easy ways that work for me to set up, tear down, store.. I don't always use it though... but I at least regularly use it. Since 2006, I don't think I've ever gone over 2 months without...
