    SEBO D2 cannister

I wonder of the main body fixing screws are located under the swivel castors?

    SEBO D2 cannister

The 'airbelt' seems to attach at the rear, by means of that press-fit clip. I haven't even attempted to disassemble mine, because: (a) it is operating normally; and (b) it's still within the 5 year guarantee. I haven't actually looked closely at the main body fixing points (whether they're...

    SEBO D2 cannister

Hmm, shame about that. You might be able to get a replacement motor off the internet - but I wouldn't pay Partmaster prices. Perhaps Sebo UK would be able to assist?

    SEBO D2 cannister

Another thought... Has a previous bag burst in some way, allowing dirt into the motor?

    SEBO D2 cannister

Video... No, the machine shouldn't sound like that. What does it sound like without the filters in place? Or with the bag compartment door wide open? I'm wondering if the motor brushes or commutator are knackered...?

    SEBO D2 cannister

I have a Sebo D2 cylinder cleaner, which is about two years old, in red, standard suction machine with the 1200 Watt motor. I took some advice from the late Naryan, and decided not to buy the D4 powerhead model... apparently dodgy electrical connections in the power hose. I wanted a machine...

Anyone in the UK Own the Newest Model G-Tech Ram??

Regarding Gtech Pro bagged... A few customer reviews on the Gtech site suggested that there are quality issues with the product, such as a stuck on/off switch, a battery which wouldn't stay in position - possibly requiring extra force to lock it in place, and difficulties in detaching the...

Anyone in the UK Own the Newest Model G-Tech Ram??

I would like to see how a Dyson would perform if one of their designs had no cyclones, but instead had a high filtration dustbag and the super digital motor. I wonder what the suction power would be like?

Anyone in the UK Own the Newest Model G-Tech Ram??

At least Gtech are amenable to the idea of alternative dust collection systems. Bagless designs are indeed messy, and not suitable for folk with dust allergies. Dyson, on the other hand, said bags would never be used in a Dyson machine. In doing so, Dyson - who think they know best - shot...

Gtech Pro.... Bagged machine! This has piqued my interest...! http://https//www.gtech.co.uk/gtech-pro

    Small rollers on base plate

Particles of grit tend to jam those silly wee wheels. They're more trouble than they're worth. A slightly larger wheel design would have been a better bet.

    Central vac vs Portable vac.

Exactly how are these EU tests conducted? You would think that an upright would remove more dirt per pass than a suction only machine. Some of the El Cheapo machines on sale in Tesco had very poor pick up ratings for carpet. What is going on?

    A new ball Mr Dyson?

I liked the way the upholstery nozzle and dusting brush stored on the DC07, on either side.

    A new ball Mr Dyson?

Cheers! I was still thinking along the lines of the storage fitments of DC01, DC07 and DC15. I've clearly been out of touch with Dyson machines for some time...!

    A new ball Mr Dyson?

Does this new upright have storage for small tools? I don't see any stored on the machine in the Very.co.uk pics.

    A new ball Mr Dyson?

"reminds my of a Dyson De Stijl..." Exactly. That thought crossed my mind too. It doesn't look a bad machine. I wonder if the "skinny" design as in the side-on picture is real, or perhaps 'artistic licence' has been employed by the marketing department (i.e. by stretching the photo)?

Rebadged Vacuums... Company Buy Out Twins!

That Hoover Zoom is Australian. Nothing to do with the UK. If it was bound for the UK, it would most likely appear as a Vax machine. And it doesn't - cos I just checked! :)

hello anyone heard of these before vortech powerforce

The spring-loaded 'pip' method of attaching tools to the hose end, reminds me of Philips' cylinder cleaners.

No more corded vacuums to be developed by Dyson

Regarding 'JohnnyL8'... If he is a real scientist, then he should be damn well aware of critical appraisal, plagiarism and alternative viewpoints. You'll probably find that in real life, he's nothing more than a jumped-up little shit.
