    I still am DUMBFOUNDED by the eBay listings these days! Some of them are ridiculous...and then the fact that they keep listing them over and OVER! Man, oh man! If they see that their $400 Hoover Model 700 with "bojack" bag isn't selling, shouldn't they at least lower it to $300 or so?! Grr...It...

    Oh...I forgot to mention. Maybe you could replace the motor with an older Lewyt motor and just put in a transformer. That'd probably be the best to get it to work correctly. Good luck! ~~K~~, future E.E.! :-)

    It looks to me as though (like most power nozzle motors), it's a universal motor, indicating it can run off of DC or AC. AC in the high voltage ranges is more safe, but lower voltages, I don't think it matters. The resistor would not work, like Doug said. If I ever end up designing a vacuum...

    Ah! I see what you are talking about now! Probably not Electrolux, then...but I like it! It would be interesting to use a P/N with this, although no, I haven't tried it, as that cord is WAY too scary! :-) It does run well, however! Anyways...thanks for clearing that up, Logan! ~~K~~
