When I was opening up my Lewyt 44, I found this strange thing. It has a spring and a wire. When you pull the wire, it makes this plunger extend. Then, you push it back and it locks in place. Here's a few pictures of it. This is the filter in place. ~~K~~

Yup, Rick! He has SO many GEs! I love that V too! I got to run that one just a few weeks ago! I was so surprised that it ran! It is about as powerful as my Air-Way upright. Toby's such a great guy...! I had so much fun playing with his machines that day! ~~K~~

For my vacuum storage, I use a shelving unit and my floor space, the shelves for canisters and the floor space for uprights. I soon will need another shelf, though! Mine is all full!! Anyways, I will try and take some pictures of my storage solutions soon. ~~K~~

No problem! I am more than happy to share! This one (for some reason) came with my Dual Sanitronic 80 that I purchased from eBay. Anyways, it was a neat little find, especially because it didn't have any coloring in it. ~~K~~

I bet this was some sort of propaganda for Kirby...probably trying to get the kids at a young age of the "best" vacuum! Not that the Kirby isn't a good vacuum...I just prefer canisters most of the time. :-) ~~K~~

Thanks ya'll! I actually did buff it...(-: I used an electric buffer, but as I say, this vacuum is not good in pictures. I will try and get a better close up with my camera in some more light. That might do it. Thanks again! :-D ~~K~~
