    Kirby Tech Drive Clicking

Hello Zach, it's certainly worth looking at, with mine the foot drive switches were slightly bending downwards at the back with having no screw in and I don't think it was selecting neutral properly more like in between neutral and drive, I presume this was why it was clicking when I pushed it...

Cracked Fan in my Kirby Heritage

Hi Steve you say the lexan fan only lasts about 5 years, but would this be based on using the machine say once a day over that period? because is what I found strange this Kirby has not done a lot of work in it's lifetime, the original owner who I know very well only used it a handful of times...

    Kirby Tech Drive Clicking

Hello, I had the same problem with my G4 and it turned out that a screw had come out at the back of the drive box (just above where you select neutral or drive) added a new screw and this solved the problem.

What is the most $$ you've spend buying or rebuilding an old vacuum?

Hello, Out of my collection the most expensive model was my G3 Kirby which cost me £155 + £30 shipping of eBay, thankfully it was in good condition all that needed was the bearings on the handle/pivot assembly freeing up. the cheapest Kirby I got was for £25 + £10 shipping this was a Legend 2...

Hello David, yes I thought of that problem afterwards especially as I have no hose to fit the Tradition and I discovered the problem when I went to try the Heritage hose on it, that's something else on my shopping list a Tradition hose.
