Updated my Kirby collection with a 512 and Classic 3

Steve, I haven't considered being a Kirby salesman, I would prefer to work on them in a shop if anything. Many year's ago I asked to do my school work experience at KD service centre in Shelton (not sure if you know the place being local) but anyway disappointingly it didn't come off due to red...

Kirby Heritage - Early Warning Label

Today I have been looking in the family photo's to see if we had an old picture of our Heritage, I only managed to find one which was of me taken in 1985. Unfortunately it's not a very good photo and doesn't really show the area we need but you can just about make out the white label in between...

Kirby Heritage - Early Warning Label

My apologies Ben, got my Heritage out tonight and realised that I had replaced the scuff plate. I am 99.9 percent sure it did have the original warning decal which read WARNING: ELECTRIC SHOCK COULD OCCUR IF USED OUTDOORS OR ON WET SURFACES. It stands out to me because for one it was a white...

Kirby Heritage - Early Warning Label

Hello Ben, Yes my UK Heritage from early 81 has that warning sticker on the scuff plate. I presume it's the original scuff plate/sticker had it in the family since new I don't think its been changed, Look's a little different to other's iv'e seen which have the grey sticker in that spot. Craig.

    New Kirby Three Wheeler!

Had exactly the same fault happen to my G4 I'm pretty sure it was caused when my mother used to carry it downstairs (it's too heavy for her to lift and she struggled to hold it up) so once she got to the bottom of the stairs exhausted she would slam it down and eventually over time snapping off...

Using a Kirby To Clean Your Computer?

I regularly clean my PC with a Kirby using a soft brush on the end of the hose I find it works great on keyboards although I did once loose the R key off my old laptop when I did not use the soft brush so lesson learnt on that one. As for the main tower I just get the baulk of dust out using...

As Requested, The Kirby Heritage G Prototype "Prometheus"

Very nice, I like it a lot. Do you know if it originally had a head light on it and for some reason it was removed? or is this how Kirby intended this prototype to be?

I have seen a Legend 11 with a Sani-Emtor but I couldn't tell you if it had a shake out bag, It was a few year's ago whilst at my local Kirby shop, It was one of three from a working men's club and I heard that it was quite common for business's like that to have a Sani-Emtor on a Kirby as many...

    Favorite Pre-G Series Kirby?

Wow Trevor that Classic III looks in fantastic condition For me I think the Tradition is my Favourite Kirby but only just, for me it's a hard choice between that and the Heritage but the Tradition just edges it on colour scheme. If I could though I would have a Heritage Kirby in Tradition...

Does it bother someone else at your house?

Well I'm 29 my Fiancée doesn't mind at all me collecting Kirby's even if I have got five machines stored in our bedroom three being under the bed, I think the rest of the family think I'm a bit strange though but I don't care what anyone else thinks, when my mother makes a comment I just turn it...
