This really puzzled me at first after about half an hour and every obscenity under the sun I had got it off.

The dismantling starts I can not believe the volume of hair on the roller.

As you can see there is no U bend luckily they are very cheap to buy so one has been ordered.

I have no idea how on earth such a large ball of hair got there, I can only presume that the old owner filled it way past the max line on more then one occasion.

I absolutely hate these clear cleaner heads, they are going to be a real nightmare for collectors in the future.

Personally I myself have washed a few kirby cleaner heads and they have all been just fine, its not really electrical more of a current caused by the rotating pins on the brush roll, here is my Diamond possibly my favourite kirby, good luck with you friends :)
