    Love the unusual bronze metallic color used, this is quite unusual for dyson as all their Animal machines are usually purple, maybe they were going for a higher end look.

    @panasonicvac Are you sure your not on about the American DC28 Airmuscle I have one of those imported and absolutely love it, Im not to sure the dc27 was sold in America (there is of course a possibility), anyway after a lot of stress its finally back together.

    After washing all the parts in the bath I set to work on the filters, unfortunately I only got a picture of the pre motor filter but by god it was absolutely disgusting.

    As you can see there is no U bend luckily they are very cheap to buy so one has been ordered.

    I have no idea how on earth such a large ball of hair got there, I can only presume that the old owner filled it way past the max line on more then one occasion.

    I absolutely hate these clear cleaner heads, they are going to be a real nightmare for collectors in the future.

    Personally I myself have washed a few kirby cleaner heads and they have all been just fine, its not really electrical more of a current caused by the rotating pins on the brush roll, here is my Diamond possibly my favourite kirby, good luck with you friends :)

    Finally polished and waxed I am very pleased with how this has turned out, you can see those brilliant deep groom lines in front.
