    Trying to take the handle off without no prior knowledge isn't the easiest task, there are 3 hidden screws, one under a cap next to the filter cover, one under the Hoover logo and another under the on/off switch.

    One last shot I forgot to put in before of the triple vortex system, I cant believe how small the hole for the air to travel through is.

    And I was right, in typical vortex fashion the filter is completely caked, this is something that these machines were famous for, having an inefficient separation process mixed with very small air path put a lot of extra strain on what was a pure power motor.

    So I have recently won a job lot of 4 machines those include an Electrolux cylinder model 180, a Hoover Turboboost and a Hoover Senior 612, and of course this, it was in quite a sorry state despite the seller saying it was fully working, why anyone would use a machine of that state in their home...

    thank you to everyone who commented, and Louvac I used autosol its not the best shine ive seen on a kirby but its a lot better then it was when I got it.
