    Dating An Old Bag

The 562s and the Sanitronic VII both had tight circles on the bag itself. The 562 introduced many new photos in its book which will verify that. The oval logo DID begin with the Sanitronic VII but did not end up on the bag itself until the Dual Sanitronic 50.

    Dating An Old Bag

Actually, the tight ovals started with the Dual Sanitronic 50 for sure.Around 1966, ny parents got a 505 rebuild with the EXACT bag we're discussing, and my mom has a 1967 pic with me posing with it!

    Filtex on eBay

So cool! A well thought out machine, ahead of the Electrolux in some ways, namely the diffused exhaust and the wheels instead of "skis". Why other tanks wanted to be sleds is beyond me,lol!

    Opinions on Lindhaus

I agree! The Lindhaus PN is durable, well thought out in alot of ways but does NOT deep clean nearly as well as a Eureka VibraGroomer I, II, or III PN as a comparative example.

    Canister. vs. Canister

I'd say Airways. Noone else had a 14 layer cellulose bag. Luxes are wonderful, but they don't filter as well. You can take an Airway apart after 20 or more years of use,and the motor and fan will still be sparkling with no visible dust on them if genuine Airway bags were used all along. And the...

I wonder what chord it plays...

Actually, if it was a SINGER vacuum, it would croon a tune while the Lux strikes a chord, lol!

    Kirby F&G Setup

That Kirby dealer is way wrong! They have the power to work this way. But they DO look better with the Sani Emptor as well as clean better since the airflow is less impeded, but using the four row brush should compensate for that! Congrats to a great vacuum!

Is It True Even Royals Had 2 Different Impeller Fans?

Yes it's true. My 2002 Royal Classic has a 10 blade fan and could suck the chrome off a car. I do want to sell it if anyone is interested BTW.

    Kirby 515 Question

That "high speed" 515 is likely such due to the converted bag assembly that takes F and G type bags.

    Kirby 515 Question

I haven't seen a 513 in awhile, could be wrong about it being 4 amp., I know it has the new rug guard at that point however. The 515 definately is 4 amps., and had a new fan by then, I had a 515, and since all that I've ever seen have ALWAYS had a 10 blade fan , I'll assume that this is the...

    Kirby 515 Question

It says 4 amp.on the 515 and the 513 but there were supposed to be improvements in the efficiency of the 515 anyway, plus a new 10 blade fan was now added to replace the 6 blader.

    Kirby 515 Question

The Kirby Derby The 513 jumped from 3 amp. to 4 and change the stainless steel rug guard. According to Classic Omega's proof book, the 515 was said to have several motor improvements plus a redesigned impeller fan further stepping up cleaning efficiency.
