    Today I Assembled the Choir!

Many thanks! I just figured that being that a choir is formed of singers, that it fit to title the post as "Assembling the Choir." I don't normally get all of them together for a picture, so with having more time at home, I felt it was a perfect time. When it comes to posting the model numbers...

Would you buy these Singer Vacuum from a Singer Sewing Machine store

Singer Vacuum Cleaners I have one of these models in my collection. That particular model is the later iteration of the famous Golden PowerMaster. It is one of my absolute favorite machines. Here is the link to my recent post that had all of my Singers together...

    Electrolux Power Nozzle Parade

Convenient timing! I’d love to join the parade! This week I was finally able to make my 1968 1205 complete with its original one piece sheath PN-1! I noticed that one hadn’t been posted yet, so I thought I’d post mine! This of course is an early 1205 with the PN port in the front of the...

    Today I Assembled the Choir!

And finally! The Powermasters! Lastly, I have the Powermaster trio! The lowest model of the long series of Powermasters that I have is the orange Powermaster. This model had a 3 position height adjustment, switch in the handle bale, and originally a plain white bag. This model was found with a...

    Today I Assembled the Choir!

Next we have the brother and sister duet! The next combo that we see here is the model U-42 and U-43! These machines were the predecessors to the Powermaster series. The model U-42 had less features and was the budget unit to the U-43 because it did not have a cordwinder, but instead a pocket...

    Today I Assembled the Choir!

Next up! The S Series Sopranos! This set are two of the possibly most over engineered vacuum cleaners ever made! These were known as the Magic Carpet uprights The first being an S-2. The S-2 had so many features and still could get under large furniture. It featured a triggered handle release...

    Today I Assembled the Choir!

Next up! From the legendary R series, we have the model R-5! This is the last model of the famous Art Deco line of Singers. This was also painted completely in the dark gray hammer tone color while the previous models had chrome on the bodies or hoods. This particular example is a little more...

    Today I Assembled the Choir!

The first machine! First up is my Singer Model A-2. This machine was built by the company Delco for the Singer company. It was affectionately known as the platypus model for its frontal resemblance to a bill.

    Today I Assembled the Choir!

So for this weekend’s quarantine activity, I decided to call my Singers to choir! From the early platypus model to the later Golden Powermaster, they all came to performance. I will be posting more of each “set” of uprights following this first post of them all together. I do hope you all enjoy...

    1974 American Lincoln Super Sweep

Definitely a green giant! I wish I could see some advertising for these or maybe the original box! I’ve only seen the box for the Comvacs. Anybody have any other advertising or pics?

A Rarity You Don’t See Often

A Rarity You Don’t See Often

Thank You! I'm definitely happy to have it in my collection! I think I heard that there was a version of this hose for the tan G as well that still had the red tracers in it. Does anyone have any pictures of them or can anyone confirm this?

A Rarity You Don’t See Often

My Future Goal My goal is to find a model CA to go with it because I believe that they used this hose as well. I don’t know that for sure. Thank you for the good comments!

A Rarity You Don’t See Often

Leakage Thankfully I haven’t found any leakage! It must have been kept in a good place before I got it because it performs like a new vacuum.

    1974 American Lincoln Super Sweep

Many thanks! Thanks for the information Ben! Seems like every day I learn something new. These certainly are interesting vacuums. When vacuuming with that wide nozzle, it feels like you're a combine harvesting wheat.

A Rarity You Don’t See Often

Early Electrolux Models Thankfully this machine will be in a line with all of my early Luxes. Currently, I have an early pre-war model XXX, an early 1205, and then this early model G. I'll upload a pic later after I get off work. Many thanks for the positive comments!
