Wow Fred I must say you got a good deal with that machine it is actually very clean considering it is an older model rainbow, the previous owners obvsiouly took very good care of it. Keep us posted on your progress thanks. Zach

Wow very nice I will have to post some pictures of my rainbows when I get home from the cabin for the long weekend. It's nice to see vacuums being properly taken care of and rebuilt back to their original condition thanks. Zach

I don't know much about replacing pumps in rug doctors but maybe a seal is gone and the pumps are sucking in a bunch of air instead of water, maybe the pumps are bad just a thought thanks. Zach

I have always wanted to try it especially with the rainbows because they get so dirty but I don't think my mom would appreciate it if I put my dirty old vacuum fans in the dishwasher lol. I think I may have to try it some day thanks. Zach

I agree with saving things because you never know when someone or your self is going to need that exact part you had a year ago that you thought you didn't need. It has happened to me many times I will throw something away to reduce clutter and next thing I know I need the part. But in saying...
