    If two makes a collection

Gary described exactly the way mine is configured, and what I meant by "hard wired." Mike

    If two makes a collection

then I now have a collection of Filter Queens! After finding my Filter Queen LE a couple of years ago at the Goodwill Outlet store, I have been keeping my eye open for an older model. Yesterday while cruzin' the bins at the same store I found a model 31 with matching PN. It came with a second...

If I need above floor or hard floor vacuuming my first choice is my new Royal 4150.

Sometimes I rotate my Royal 886, 881, and 880 to keep them exercised.

    Royal Power Tank question

Four days ago I posted pictures of my new gray Royal 4150 commercial tank vac found at my local Goodwill outlet store, where I have found most of my collection. It is in outstanding close to new condition but was missing the crevice and furniture tools. Yesterday I began searching for...

    Tristar PN restoration

I was the power nozzle away from completing my Tristar CXL from virtually like new condition. The PN was in good shape except for the black base being covered in the usual furniture scratches and gouges. The decal on top also had some tears. I ordered a new black base piece and decal and...

How Do I Clean Rubber And Plastic Bumpers?

I use Mothers metal polish on both my hard plastic and soft parts. It usually takes away some scratches and removes wall paint.

    New Royal tank find

Yesterday I came across another great Goodwill outlet store find, a Royal 4150 in outstanding condition. I already have a nice 4600, but this was too exceptional to pass up, especially when it was offered to me for $9.00! It is free of dents and scratches, and with the help of Mothers metal...

Tristar hard floor tool carpet adapter

I've recently learned about a vinyl hard floor adapter that may have come with earlier Tristar (CXL DXL) models, that allowed the hard floor tool to be used on carpets. I am guessing that they are rare these days. Anybody know about these and if they can be found? I would be interested in one...

    Tristar CXL restoration complete! (mostly)

I found a nice Tristar CXL at my local Goodwill outlet store a while back. It had the hose but nothing else. There were a few minor paint chips and the plastichrome badge was in two pieces with a clean break, but unlike most I've found, complete. It was also missing the exhaust filter cap...

Filter Queen and Royal motor noise question

I have a Filter Queen Limited Edition with a 7.5 amp motor and a Royal 4600 tank with an 11 amp motor, both in excellent condition. When turned on, initially they are quiet like brand new. After they have run for a few minutes they begin to make a very slight soft growling sound. Is this...

    Kirby physical therapy

A little over a year ago I injured by shoulder in an unfortunate roller skating accident at our annual company picnic. I was told that at my age it would take about a year to heal. It did. I am still a Royal die hard, but I enjoy using my Kirby Legend II for vacuuming the downstairs floors...

I used the Kirby Legend II downstairs and my new Royal 801 upstairs. The upstairs bathroom got the Tristar CXL treatment.

LED lights for Kirby and Royal

I bought 1156 LED bulbs for my Kirby Legend II and Classic III. They look like they should fit but won't go into the sockets far enough to twist and lock. Has anyone found a brand that fits and works? Has anyone identified an automotive LED that will work in a later Royal that uses 12V bulbs? Mike
