    Model O Suction Sweeper photo

well id say this..... in the picture i might look like that, but were not there to see the other side, or the back. I also tend to think of it this way, a model 700, or 725, 800, or 150 could look just as good in a pic. assuming that was the late 60's when that pic was taken, the O would have...

    Model O Suction Sweeper photo

May I add one more thing.... look at her hands, way to nice and soft looking, with painted nails..lol...Now that Dave mentions it, the costuming is all wrong. I of all people should notice such things....As for the machine itself, there's no cord showing. further more its not even turned on...

    Model O Suction Sweeper photo

i thought the same thing...... Her face is way to pretty to be from that time era....so to speak. I've seen enough pics from that time period to know that people in pictures looked, well rather sickly. dark circles around the eyes, and just not as perfect as this young woman looks.

    Hoover Model 543

i was not aware that they were made..... for the 700, i would like that a lot better. it seems weird to see the deluxe headlight and hearing the low powered old style sleeve motor. but i still love it all the same, Ive seen this add on, on a 541 and it looked REALLY out of place!..lol..at...

    hoover model 26 question

no it isint..... your thinking of the 150.....that screw is for adjustment, you have to keep adjusting in small amounts then test to get the right height, and you also have to know what the machine should feel like when the height is correct.

    Singer S2 Belt help.

i need to know what belt a Singer S2 should have? I just acquired one, the belt that is on it is to loose, and slips. A Eureka Belt seems a smidge to small, and a Hoover Convertible would be WAY TO TIGHT for that poor old motor. Any suggestions??? I thought maybe a Singer sewing machine belt...

How to convert a Hoover 150 to use paper bags?

no...but this works for all your old shake out bag hoovers.. with the wide round bag ring. just take a type "C" bag, and gently pry the staples out. then slip it inside the cloth bag, and fan out the paper bag around the bag ring. then slip the bag ring over the lug nuts (making shore all of...

i found this pic on eBay, and I need confirmation as to what the vacuum is. I want to say its a Kirby maybe a model R, I say that because the headlight cover looks a lot like that. any thoughts???? The seller says this was taken in Newberry MI in the 1930's

    Thumper

nope..... the first was mint green with a striped bag ( i call it the Cosby Decade, it was on the Cosby show), this is a slate green model. the date should be the first 4 numbers of the serial number, the first two being the month and the last two the year. so if the numbers are 0789 then the...
