After a long wait and many of this cleaner later, I have a nice example of a Hoover Junior 1346A. These are the before pictures. It was not in bad condition to begin with just little "niggles" that I managed to fix up!

Hoover 612 - Anyone Need Spares?

Hello Seamus! The bag is a replacement blue one with "Senior" written on the front. Its a shake-out type however you could modify it if you wanted to use it to save the original bag from dust.

Hoover 612 - Anyone Need Spares?

I have a Hoover 612, sadly it's been reconditioned but if you are good with the spray paint you could make it look original again. Its to be split for parts so just comment on this and let me know what you are after. The motor runs very well and sounds great. You can make an offer for the whole...

My new to me Hoover turbopower junior

Well done Michael! It looks awesome! About the noise and smell, could it be the fan not on properly? I have never taken one apart before so could be completely wrong. It looks great anyway!

Above floor cleaning on an upright, at what cost?

Haha, you picked quite a example there! It depends on the brand of vacuum aswell as the building materials used as to the weight of them. In this example the cleaner uses the wand as one of its selling points with big bold letters shouting "power wand". The wand is more pronounced off the...

2 new vacuums, Kirby and hoover

The kirby heritage is one of my favourite many many many Kirbys. You got a really nice example from James there, do you have any attachments? I may be able to dig a few out for you! The turbo power I would just get a new fan for, would probably sound much better. The baseplates I'm sure you...

    My new Dyson DC01!!!

Well for me its a general pattern, I do know that the late dc01s all used ydk. Those ametek motors are much more reliable too but when their bearings go they sound just as loud as the YDK motors.

    My new Dyson DC01!!!

Hi Steve, The early DC01's used Ametek motors and later ones had YDK motors. The later ones also tend to have better suction but are louder, as the Ametek motors are older now they nearly sound about the same!

    Dyson Dc04 Zorbster

Haha, I wasn't sure if I could see a difference but the pictures do show the Zorbster brought back its whiteness. This rug was only shampooed before Christmas so the Zorb really was only used for its sole purpose; to keep new carpets looking new! Funny you say about the kirby shampooer, I...

    Dyson Dc04 Zorbster

Parwaz786-Thank you very much! I really do like this Dyson James- Its actually very easy to use just takes a little bit of know how before hand. Only bad thing is I stubbed my toe trying to take these awkward pictures. The hopper works by vibrating the zorb onto the carpet which is done by the...
