    Loosen the belt Mine did this and the normal power nozzle motor whine was loud and deep, like it was straining. When I put the brushroll in, I tighten the belt a little, but the cogged belts are designed to have a little slack in them. When I put the slack back in the belt it stopped---go figure

    It came to me as just as a motor........Everything got replaced on this, except the motor guts...all new plastic, nos bag, fan, bearings, brushes, brushroll and decals.

    In my experience In my experience the ones that think their going to get hit on and follow it up with a violence statement were the first ones to catapult over the fence behind closed doors. Either way we are all human beings and the big thing to think about is all those vacuums!!!!!!!!!
