My turn for New in the Box Vintage Item

Now you can kind of make out what it might be... without further ado.. It's a Royal Model 597 Power Nozzle. Sometimes its called the Manta Rey power nozzle. I already have one but its not as nice as a new one. I found this through Tania. She told Phillip who told me many months ago that some...

OMG... it does exist! Awesome find!!!

I used to have a Constellation 82 with the dolly like the one Fred just got. I didn't know it was so rare. I found it at an estate sale in Wichita, Kansas. I also saw one when I went to the convention in Ohio. I guess I should have kept it. Chad

    Kirby 505 bag care

The handle grip is definitely wrong for the model. The original is a soft rubber grip that is hard to find in good shape. Most of them disintegrated over the years. But my 505 has the original grip and I have seen others with them as well so there are still some out there. Chad

    Christmas Vac - Already ?

Tom, you did a great job on that Kirby, it's also one of my favorites. I am in the process of restoring my Dual 50 now. I'm kind of stuck now as my buffer died and I'm trying to figure out what to do for a new one. Thanks for sharing. Chad

    Kirby Rebuild?

I might add that if you send the Kirby in to be rebuilt with parts missing, they will charge extra for the missing parts. So the way to handle that is to find some junk parts from another machine to put on the vac you send to Kirby. It doesn't matter if it matches the machine or not. They will...

Oh don't you just HATE it when............

Scott, here is a pic of my Kenmore Twin Fan. It looks like the tabs you are using to connect the axle to the base are different than mine. I have another twin fan that looks exactly like this pic. So you may just need the brackets like the pic shows. But its possible some models used the...

A couple hand-vacs and an Airway bag?

It looks like the bag belongs to an old Air Way upright. I notice one hole on the left side, that is where it attaches to the machine. Chad

    Restored Kirby D-50

I have had several of the Dual 50 Headlight lenses out and I never had to do melt anything. In fact, I wouldn't put heat near the lens or you might ruin it. I have seen lenses that melted due to the owner running a high wattage bulb in them. A friend of mine that was a huge Dual 50 fan said to...
