    Rainbow D3 vibrating badly

I took the machine to a Rainbow dealership today, and they said that the lower bearing is bad and that they do not repair D3's anymore. So...

    Rainbow D3 vibrating badly

I'm hoping some Rainbow people will be able to help me on this one. I really like using my Rainbow D3 that I got at the VCCC convention, and after a good cleaning, and a new hose, it turned out pretty well. The only problem is that it sounds like it could blow up when in use. The motor shakes so...

    Lux G dumpster find!

Speaking of the plug I test drove this vacuum in my bedroom today, power nozzled the carpet, and dusted everything, and when I was done, I pulled the plug, and it was extremely HOT! I used my infrared thermometer, and it said the prongs were 120 degrees. Ah - I DON'T think this is normal. Any...

Saw an almost never used Kirby 100th

I'd like to find One of those Golden Eurekas one day. I really like the gold on them.

    I got a Fantom Fury...

And I know nothing about it. I've been told that Fantoms are extremely rare, and that if I ever found one, I should grab it. If somebody would clue me in a little on these things, I'd appreciate it. It will probably be for sale in Tulsa next year, as I have no interest in bagless vacuums.

    My Convention scores

Unfortunately, The Wards bag disintegrated on the way home, so I had to replace it with the bojack bag from the parts Eureka.

    My Convention scores

I lucked out at the Convention this year big time. In total, I got six machines, consisting of a Deep in the Box Eureka Roto-Matic 910, complete, a Compact C4, complete, a Hoover 913 commercial, a Rainbow D3 with powerhead, a 1998 Eureka Sanitaire, and a 1970 Wards Eureka with Cordaway. The 1970...

    Some 2016 VCCC photos

Here are some pictures I took. We just finished the cleaning competition. Every vacuum I brought was used except my Rainbow D3. My D4 was used against my Hyla.

    Lux G dumpster find!

This past Saturday, I went to a recycling center that I've never been to before. One of the first things I found was a complete Lux G in a dumpster! Only problem was that it was missing a wheel. I put a new wheel on it and gave it the spa treatment and now it's good as new! VCCC people - it will...

    WTB Antique Eureka at Convention

Those are some nice machines, Tom. How much for a burgundy model M and that Hoover in front in the second picture? I've always wanted an early 20's Hoover. I have a 700, but it's in pretty tough shape.

    WTB Antique Eureka at Convention

Okay, I'm looking forward to seeing it. It is a Model M, correct?

    WTB Antique Eureka at Convention

Luke, Thank you! Tom, if you could post a picture of the machine for sale (unless it's the one I took a picture of last year) and a price, I'd appreciate it.

    WTB Antique Eureka at Convention

Tom, yes I remember seeing that Eureka at the Museum last year (I bought the Kenmore Deluxe and Electrolux XXX from you), but unfortunately there is no way possible for me to make it to Missouri this year. Unless somebody from your club wanted to deliver it to Chicago, there's just no way. Thank...

    Kirby Sentria Instruction video

I call those videos The "Kirby Bloopers." Because of all the inconsistenies in the machines.
