    Eureka Canister Motor

Just figured out how to open the motor. Pull on the metal clips by wedging something in between them and the yellow plastic piece and pulling. Now how do I remove the metal motor cover? [this post was last edited: 4/15/2014-22:30]

    Eureka Canister Motor

The motor is my Eureka 3336A canister has started to make a buzzing sound while running. I'd like to take a look at it, but I can't figure out how to remove the yellow motor cover inside the vacuum. What is causing this sound, and how can I remove the motor cover?

My Dilemma - new canister? Looking for advice

I would guess that the Wonder would sell for around $500-$800, in order to compete with similar vacuums from other brands.

Great collection! I'd probably spend and hour just deciding which one to use.

Just Rounded Out My Dynamic Duo

I love canister/ upright combos! I like to use my Sebo X2 or Riccar 8900 for the floors, and my Hoover Constellation for everything else. I've always wanted to try one of those Electroluxes. How maneuverable is the canister unit?

    2 New Additions

I wish that they were more widespread. None of my local vacuum stores sell them, and the only U.S. website I see them on is bestvacuum.com

It's a Hanukkah Henry! I wish Numatic would bring their vacs over to the U.S. They seem very high quality from what I've heard.

what should my next vacuum(s) be?

I'd look around for a used Riccar 8900 upright if you go that route. The metal brushrolls on those are amazing on carpet and pet hair, and can be turned off for bare floors. Although some versions of that Riccar don't have on board tools, I'm pretty sure all variants of the 8900 have a port to...

You know a vacuum is too expensive when the square root of the buy it now price is too much to pay.

    American Flag Riccar

Those are very cool. If a vacuum store was selling tons of Tacony vacuums, would the manufacturer be able to make custom labeled vacuums with the stores name? (ex. Stark Royals)

    American Flag Riccar

I've seen some Riccars at vacuum stores painted to look like an American flag. Would it be possible for the average consumer to get one, or are these just display models for vac shops. Also, does anyone have any good pictures of these machines?
