    Super House Maid Vacuume Cleaner

Manufacturer? Karl, where do you propose I look to see who manufactured it? Other than the Super House Maid badging, there are no other external plates or identification.

Bare Floor Nozzle David,I am not sure how you distinguish a "bare floor" nozzle but have included a pic of the other side.

    Super House Maid Vacuume Cleaner

Vacuum, not Vacuume It was me that inadvertantly used (the French - smile) Vacuume in my thread title. That was an error. BTW, it has two switches, on/off and hi/lo.

    Need Compact Attachments?

Good eye, Robert I thought it was black, but my secretary agrees with you, says it's blue. I have found a home for the Compact attachments but will set aside the floor tool for you.

    Robot Project - Sneak Preview

December 17 Status Report I have been busy and a little gumption trapped on this robot, but some progress is being made. My muse hasn't provided me with what I need to "flesh out" the arms. More to come.

    Universal Vac Zeppelin-like WIP

Work In Progress: I have trashed an old Universal with an eye toward a space type attack Zeppelin. Am fiddlin' with proper placement of outboard engines. Advice always appreciated (and often ignored).

    Need Compact Attachments?

I was digging through my stuff for a zeppelin gondola when I came across a raggy Interstate Manufacturing box. I think it unlikely that I will have any need of these items and would be honored to send them to a good home.

Would Lubricant Help Regarding removing the motor - in the body shop, when trying to inflate a tubeless tire new to the rim, my dad would wipe the bead with anti-freeze - it seemed to help the bead slip over the shoulder on the wheel. Does it make sense to swab something on the rubber...

Kenmore Commander - Thank you Chuck!

Now, for the Dark Side The dark side of the gift of the Kenmore Commander relates to my decision to remove the motor. I can see Chuck’s quandary. While I do not need the motor, and shipping it without the motor would be less expense, is the hassle of removing the motor worth the additional...

Kenmore Commander - Thank you Chuck!

Normally this time of year I pay no mind to packages that arrive and simply take them home to my wife because she likes the convenience of having on line purchases shipped to my office. One arrived on Friday that was different. The box was recycled, rebuilt and clearly different. I still just...

Klaatu Barada Nikto Okay, so this is a nasty time in this project. I am tired and irritable (we both are - smile). I am designing as I go, trial and error. The arms will be "fleshed out." - that's my gove, not his that he is waiving with; there is structural work to be done and a lot of "dress"...

Green Eureka? Need for Robot Torso?

I am posting this query here because of machine age confusion/etiquette, but am looking for a green torso for large robot -- explained better in thread below on the vintage side. Thoughts? http://www.vacuumland.org/TD/THREADS/VINTAGE/466.htm

Wanted - Green Machine for Robot Torso

I have the head and all of the limbs for the robot I am building (see link below for "work in progress") and, as it turns out, I seem to have a green/turquoise theme going on. The pelvis and head will be chrome. But after seeing Derreck's Eureka in Thread #456, I am wondering if I should use...
