    Keeping Product Boxes

Well if a machine is new in box, like my Compact C8, then obviously I am going to keep the box. With Kirby machines, its easy to store all the extra stuff, so the box can be a good benefit. Other than that, only if boxes are complete and mint would I keep it (unless maybe its exceedingly rare)

Beautiful Penncrest!! That stove with the 68 in front of it is actually at Greg Nunn's house. Thats a 1959 Frigidaire Custom Imperial range. The vacuum belongs to Fred and Robert now, but was in the possession of Greg for a while here in omaha.

Bernie! That is such a beautiful model 450!!! It beautiful in its own way. Heck even for being cheaper than the 800, I still love it just as much! I would kill for one of those bags too! Oh and John, yer darned tootin I won't ever make a mistake like I did with the 68! It was a big loss on...

And so concludes some of my hoover nuttiness. I will leave you with a beautiful Hoover 68 similar to my uncles, but far cleaner! In front of the most fitting match of a stove![this post was last edited: 6/2/2012-00:32]

This Dial-A-Matic is in loan to a family friend. I received it, and restored it, but honestly all I had to do was dust it off. It's practically new.

This beauty recently escaped me. For the life of me, I can't recall what I did with it. It was a beautifully mint concept.

And now probably the greatest and last of hoovers quality resides within these machines. The power drive, concept, and dial-a-matic eras.

And the fabulous Constellation is another Hoover staple. Elegant and fun at the same time, and work fabulously too! My model 82 in pink, and my restored 86.

Another very fine piece of Hoover history is their dedication to extreme quality and sturdiness. There is no other cleaner on the face of this earth that is as solidly built as the beautiful Hoover 913. They run very smooth, and low, and clean quite well.

And of course not as amazing as John's hoover stairs, my hoover bedroom is dwarfed by his coolness! I try hard to fit in. Some day John! You inspire me! (don't tell my parents!)

Moar. The fabulous Convertibles. I have had many over time. This was my great great uncles model 68. I, stupidly, sold it on ebay. It was virtually unused, containing its original from factory paper bag.

Moving through time we get to another one of my favorite eras. The 1950s. When the colors arrived. My mint, all original 63, that Roger in Arizona taught me how to restore. Runs great now.

And now the fab 28. Still my smoothest running hoover. I got it off ebay and had to do nothing to it. It is impeccably clean, with only a few scuffs, and runs like butter.

How bout that 305. That bag is an original hoover 28 bag! Goes well with my mint 28. I have 3 28s and a 305 now.

Moar. Was someone discussing the Dreyfuss designed 150? I have two. Beautiful machines. Awaiting restoration. These suckers are quite complex!!!! Vastly ahead of their time.

The streamlined 475. One of my favorites as well!

The original parts 575. Pretty banged up but wow does it run quiet and smooth! I keep it because it was my first coffee can, and my first all original hoover.

And one of the gleaming 700. Restored with a little patina left for character. The bag is the old style spreader type. Works great.

Another shot of the ever so quiet 102. One of my all time favorite vacuums.
