No Longer Manufactured Vacuums Like This One

WOW! Beautiful machine!!! Definitely not something you see every day. Even though the Silver Kings, and its sub-brands were generally a commercial use machine, they were still well suited for the home, just as was the Filter Queen, and Royal.

    Airway Motor Filters

Sweet! I need bags for my AIrway Vita Vac. I haven't used in in ages for the fact that its hard and often expensive to get bags. I love the machine!!

    CRAIGSLIST allert!

I have fired up machines far worse than that! Check out my all original 575 when I got it. Plugged it in (after a new cord of course), runs like a charm, very quiet.

    CRAIGSLIST allert!

Early hoover! Either the picture is distorted, or this may be a pre 105 hoover. http://southjersey.craigslist.org/atq/3209472532.html

    Hoover Conquest

Great machines! BIG one too! If running properly, they are very very quiet. I had one briefly that belonged to my friend. Not really that hard to use as one might think. They are many hundreds of dollars new so you did quite well at $5!

A BRAND NEW 1958 Kirby 518 - Garage sale find.

The 518 had the speckled bag as shown above, but the cord as mentioned is incorrect. Originally a solid grey cord, with red plugs.

Most Beautiful Vintage Vacuum Cleaner Competition!

The 561 Fred has was beautifully done at the same place my Dual Sanitronic 80 above was done. The man behind the counter is like an artistic genius with a buffer.

    That like new shine...

Nothing beats the better than new shine of a Bench polisher.

    Fair Test?

It is an entirely fair test... They just don't finish it out by using the miele after the kirby. ANY vacuum cleaner will do that. If they vacuum 20x with the kirby, and then pull the miele over again, it would have the same results. A vacuum will never clean a rug 100%.
