I asked a few places about Central vacuums... airflow etc is hindered by the length of the hose. Considering central air vacuums have huge amounts of pipe/hose before it gets to you... It has been stated they are the weakest in terms of actual cleaning performance. Might be convenient and the...

So what they really need to do, is get with the times and produce a Rainbow that has the airflow of over 120 CFM like a kirby, then the price tag which is the same as a kirby will be justified + you get water filtration. Might just wait until they wake up and produce a Rainbow model that has a...

    Miele C3

Had to ask one more thing only because I got told this by a rainbow sales rep... They told me too many companies talk about vacuum, which means nothing. It is all about airflow. I looked up a few things... The Miele C3 showed 108 CFM tested empty bag, and with a full (overly full) bag it was...

Only thing is you just rinse the HEPA under water. With bagged its $50 a year on filter replacement + bags... bagless is run a little bit of water over the filter dry it and insert back in and continue for another 6 months (lifetime filter)...?

    The "Sirena"

Sorry to bring up an old thread... Having decided on a Miele ($1200) with electric brush as recomended by members on this forum... compare to the $4000 price tag of the Rainbow... The $1200 on the Miele Electrobrush model canister (top end with LED lights on brush etc) comes up to the price...

Thanks for that... then the vacuums gone from 650 to $1200 for the sake of an electric brush. Anyone got experiece with the CX1 bagless? Apparently they clean just as good as bagged version, and no dust leaves them back out in air either...

    Miele C3

Thats all models in the US... I assume the Marin is the elelctric turbo brush with LED lights model you are referring to... ? That is the highest dollar one. The cheaper ones just have a standard turbo brush... Last question regarding Miele... They have come out with a Bagless Miele CX1 -...

Hello, I am trying to figure out some stuff... After much thinking... it seems for an 'every day clean' the likes of Kirby or Rainbow will not be ideal. Also given the $3000+ cost difference... Im gonna have to wait on the whole Rainbow/Kirby thing anyway. Given this, I decided what would...

    Kirby/Rainbow

And I am not after bias or anything... i just want the truth... I feel as though, however... I mean look... If I vacuum 2-3 times per week... Will it even matter which machine is used then? Reason being... nothing has a chance to settle/go deep into the carpet if you vacuum frequently... in...

    Kirby/Rainbow

Thanks for feedback. Unfortunatelly being international, there are hardly any distributors around. Only 1 in my town, next one 500miles away. No shops down here will have any of them. Best I can do is schedule an in home demo with either. But doing that, both will clean exceptional compare to...

    Kirby/Rainbow

Here is one of the videos I was referring too... Over 6 digits on particle test while Rainbow shows 0. To me it is more looking like this... The Kirby - Lasts 30+ Years.... All the Rainbow people have rainbows that are over 30 years old and still working like new as well. So Long Lasting -...

    Kirby/Rainbow

Kirby have Gold CRI approval... Rainbow have the AAFA (asthma allergy thing) approval... doesn't that filter even better because of it? To get that means no dust comes out of the machine, and all youtube videos I seen of Kirby people say the room smells like dust when you turn a Kirby on... not...

    Kirby/Rainbow

Hello, I know I asked most of what I wanted to ask in a previous thread, but I didn't know how to edit the actual heading. Since it all went in Kirby/Rainbow direction, I felt it would of been better had I titled it that way so that people that actually use/own one or the other would be able to...

    Which High Dollar Vacuum?

There is one other thing to mention... I need to be able to vacuum the curtains and stuff because cats always jump up on the window sill, and soon they get on that... you see fine hair hanging off the ends of the curtains... not to mention all my cotton clothes and woollen suit has hair on it...

    Which High Dollar Vacuum?

Thanks for the feedback. I prefer to do one room before moving to the next. I wouldn't want 2 machines and I need something to vacuum the bed. I had no idea dust mites live in a mattress. Wonder what I will pull out of this bed *eek*. Anyway... What is the Kirby like in terms of filtration...

    Which High Dollar Vacuum?

Hey and thanks for that. The place im living in is carpet (old carpet) besides the bathroom which is tiled (those small 1-2" tile squares). The whole place is one of those old sort of homes. We don't dust often enough, but I see grey dust building up on the furniture and the mirror within a...

    Which High Dollar Vacuum?

Hello, I am new here but I have done as much research as I could before I figured to sign up to this forum and ask. After looking at many vacuum cleaners... I came to certain conclusions which some how at the same time seemed to still leave a ? at the end of each conclusion. eg: Everyone I...
