    Questions on cleaning tile/non-carpeted flooring.....

Have you tried a BONA mop and solution? It really cuts through gunk. Also try spraying the floor with 409 and then use a wet Bona mop on it to wash and THEN rinse the floor. I clean a home with a woman who uses lots of hairspray and this cuts it well. Greg

Need help Electrolux B8 swirls in wax

Hello? Please listen! You cannot wax floors that have a Polyurethane finish! They are NOT compatible with wax! You can however, buff your floors using just the brushes, which might brighter then floors a bit, but isn't going to given them a bright waxed finish! It does NOT matter what the...

    My new Kirby 512

The "thing" on the Emptor is to open and add "Sweet Aire" to the pad in the back of the Emptor. It was a fragrance/musk scent that would then be spread through the room(s) through the exhausted air. A lot like Kirby's "Odorific" in later years. Greg

Aerus/ Lux uprights then and now

Is there much difference in say a Lux Epic 3500 upright then and the new one now? I know there's an after filter and probably a better brush roll but is it worth the difference? I've a chance to buy a 3500 for $30.00 . Greg

1205! This is the exact 1205 my Mother bought on June 30, 1969 in Tacoma WA for $212.00. Metal hose wand end and no brush clip which frustrated her for years! Salesman was Fred Kaelin who was a one armed US Veteran who really knew how to use his abilities to demo the machines! Mom almost went...

What would be a good recommendation for a Central Vacuum System?

Hi Jo! I can't recommend a Lux/Aerus central vacuum! First of all is the HEAVY wire wound hose that is not crush proof and has that funky gas pump handle which needs a special adapter to use the small flip tool. What if you can't find that adapter? Lost it? Pricey to replace! While the PN...

I have a question about Central Vacuum.

Great answer! A by-pass motor is more reliable than a flow through. A by-pass motor has a separate cooling fan so it's not pulling the hot air from the motor's operation through it's cooling system. Many systems using Lamb motors that use by-pass motors can last for 20-30 years with little to...

I have a question about Central Vacuum.

Matty! There are a good number of wonderful Made in Canada machines on the market! CycloVac is my favorite, but there's also Husky (available at Costco), Allegro which also makes Ultra Clean (paper bag available), Drain Vac is out there, so is DrainVac and Cana Vac. CanaVac is a great...
