AP-100 motor bearing , how to replace?

A few years ago, I found a 10 mm deep socket on the pavement, walking down the main street in Granby, first city at west of Waterloo. Back home, I put in in a drawer with other sockets, saying to myself that it could be useful some day. Well that day has come, it was perfect to put the bearing...

    Vibra-beat

I found out that it vibrates just by air passage, but it is obviously not designed to be fit on an Elux hose, it goes too deep in the brush and it stops vibrating. So it needs a special hose, anybody here have that hose and would be interested in having that brush for the cost of shipping from...

    Vibra-beat

DOes somebody know that attachment? I got it in a box with others , mostly to fit on Electrolux, but that one is very different. Is it deisgned for carpets? How does that vibrate, there doesn't seem to have any electric connection?

AP-100 motor bearing , how to replace?

I followed Madman's suggestion to make my own bearing puller (see picture). I screwed the nut on the shaft, put a piece of hardwood on it and gave it a few wacks with a hammer. It went out pretty easily. Thanks for the tip! I wonder if i could use the same set up, turning the rotor upside down...

    Electrolux PN-4 Constantly Resetting

Repairman How much play did you actually put on your belt ?

    Electrolux PN-4 Constantly Resetting

I measured the play in my PN4 belt with pictures, it is roughly 1.5 cm or 0.6 inch, I can't imagine how it could be a 1 inch play and still be functional.

    Electrolux PN-4 Constantly Resetting

One inch of play sounds like a lot a play for a belt so tiny mounted on a small gear. Is it a typo ?

What is the make of this vac?

This picture is the only thing I have about it, I could see there is a name plate on the side , but the picture is not accurate enough. WHat's the name of the member with the humongous vac collection ? I'm pretty sure he had one or two.

    Just bought a B28

Hey all ! I just brought home an Electrolux B28 carpet cleaner and floor polisher. It looks in pretty good shape, the old woman who sold it to me has apparently taken very good care of it over the years (decades ??). There a plastic thing missing to hold one of the polishing wool-a-like disk...

What is the make of this vac?

I remember reading someone who reported these vacs were offered as a gift to Ford cars buyers , but that's about all I can remember, except that they made them in blue, too.

    Electrolux ZB89 rear connectors

I want to buy the electric connectors that go in the rear section of a ZB89 ELectrolux. I'm pretty sure the ZB86 and ZB88 connectors could be appropriate too. I also need the plastic part that holds the connectors in place. I live in Waterloo, Quebec, Canada.

Need help wiring up a switch in a Silverado

On my SuperJ, the red wire from the switch goes to a plate next to the dial . under the cover of the front section. As for the other wire, I'm still unsure of where it goes.

    Electrolux ZB89 rear connectors

I want to buy these connectors to fix one of my vacuum cleaners, it is an Electrolux ZB89 but other model numbers similar to the ZB89 could do be appropriate (see pictures). I would need the plastic cover that holds the connectors in place, too. I live in Quebec, Canada.

    Electrolux AP-100 not running

I just pulled a cord out of a B28 carpet cleaner, I'll use it for in that reel, it'll probably a bit longer than the broken one.

Need help wiring up a switch in a Silverado

Here is a picture of the switch on my SUperJ. It may not be of great help but this is what I can send you for the moment. A friend of mine will bring me another SuperJ next week, if it needs some fixing I'll probably tear it apart and send you better pictures.

    Electrolux AP-100 not running

Well , I put a good motor in the machine and a good tube with a good rubber tip and no go, no light bag door light. So I thought the motor isn't the main problem. Actually, it's a broken cord problem (see picture). It doesn't mean the motor runs, but we'll know when the cord is fixed. I feel...
