It was a Hoover 6525C that first got me into collecting vacuums. I had never seen one before and didn't know anything about them, but it looked appealing. I now have around 130 vacuum cleaners. You have been warned!!! Robin.

I think that your serial number might be U103698706696. That would indicate a date of manufacture of September 1987, which sounds reasonable. Robin.
