    My Birthday Find!

So today I stopped by the Salvation Army, and as usual wasn't expecting much but when I turned to go down the house/kitchen isle I was surprised to see an Electrolux Guardian and Electrolux Renaissance side by side. I really didn't check out the Renaissance because it looked to be used quite a...

    Affordable Turbo BrushRecommendation's

I recently bought a Bissell Garage Pro vacuum that I'm using more like a central vacuum, and I really like it. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a carpet turbo brush. I've looked on Amazon but not sure what to get that would be effective enough to clean the carpet (medium pile). Thanks!

    Shark Sonic Duo

If the Jetson's had a carpet cleaner... It's a cool looking machine but, I don't see it catching on.

    Kenmore Telescopic Wand

Update After taking the wand apart and finding nothing wrong with it. I cleaned all the connectors, and it turned out the power nozzle and wand were not making enough contact to stay on when moved, but now she's up and running. Thank's for your help and suggestions!

    Kenmore Telescopic Wand

I got a Kenmore Progressive (like the one pictured)canister yesterday at the Salvation Army for $12.99. I really like it but the power nozzel cuts on and off when in use. Im sure it's something to do with the wires in the telescoping wand, but the led lights on the handle stay on with out...

Vacuums being sold on these shopping channels

I hate how they keep saying that this "Electrolux" is a brand that's been around 70 years. The average consumer doesn't know that this is not going to be your Grandma's Electrolux so good luck if you think it's going to last 30 years!

    World's most expensive vacuum

And you would buy that because...... Well I'm disappointed $21,900 and no attachments come with it other that the power nozzle?? LOL

    The Electrolux Nimble.

I have one,and I agree with all your points. I have to say there is nothing Nimble about it. The thing weighs a ton, but on the other hand I like the led lights the bare floor switch, and the decent length hose that doesn't seem to tip over when using it in my experience. I got a remanufactured...

Help! Shopping for New Vacuum and Overwhelmed

I understand your doubts with Dyson, but it seems since you were so happily satisfied with your Fantom that the Dyson would well suit your needs with the wand/hose handle and bagless convience. Might I also recommend the Kenmore Intuition Crossover canister.

    Domestic Vacuums in Commercial Settings

An IGA (grocery store) here has a Dyson DC33. Which of course its very dirty and dusty, but they use to have a Bissell so they really stepped it up.

    Never knew Sanitaire made this

@ eurekaprince Just curious where does the bare floor tool store? I know there is a place to store an extra belt but didn't know about the bare floor tool.

    Never knew Sanitaire made this

I have the Eureka Excalibur, it runs extremely quite but performance wise I've had better, but it's a keeper. I have a brochure of the Sanitaire model that I will try to upload.

    Oh I love Hoover Canisters!!

Wow that's quite a collection of Hoover canister's! I have a green PowerMax Supreme 850 which my Aunt bought from Service Merchandise in 1993, and the blue brother to your PowerMax Deluxe S3606 model which I got at Goodwill for $14.99. I think there great cleaners and the power nozzle's really...

If you could design a vacuum...

Water Filtration Upright A water filtration upright vacuum. Not sure how exactly how I would design it, but in a way the water basin can be easily removed much like a bagless vacuum. If any one has any ideas why this wouldn't work please comment, because Iv'e always wondered why there hasn't...

todays vac shop treasure for only 10 $

Thank's for posting!!! This was my Moms vacuum as a child growing up before she bought a Windtunnell when they first came out(1998). I have yet to see another one in person or that color scheme. We still have the Helpmate that came with it, but of course the Elite itself is long gone!!
