If you are going to get a Lux "R" style canister, I would recommend the Renaissance or Epic 8000 over the Guardian. I think the hepa filter cuts off to much of the suction on the Guardian models. The Epic 6500/Legacy machines have the same motor but they have a shorter cord, 21 ft versus 28 ft...
