GE How long did GE make these models? I have never seen one in real life. I wonder why they were not popular? the swivel tops were around forever it seems.

Convertible Do you have the belt on the right way? I once was at a vac shop, and the guy told me half of the Convertibles that came in had the belt on backwards.

Hooover Yes, That is it. Thank you. I guess I thought the deluxe would have more features, but it is reversed, with the Custom having the deluxe features. Just opposite of the 1020/1070 lineup.

Hoover Mine was the 1020. My parents replaced our old GE from 1948 when they got married with this model. It was such a breeze to use after that old GE. Great machine. My brother got it when they died.

Kirby bag I had my Classic 3 converted to the F and G system years ago, and My Kirby never worked right after that. The bags kept exploding inside the outer bag. I got rid of my Kirby after that. Big mistake. Chan
