Need something to keep Kirby from picking up runner.

I got two area rugs in my house and they have backing like real carpet and just got the matching runner. Now since the runner has a rubber backing like a bathroom rug my UltG Diamond is picking up the whole thing when on the back stroke. Does anyone know of anything I can put on it to prevent...

    Vacuum bag fragrance

I mostly use fabric sheets or Laundry scent boosters (mostly accidentally because I still them a lot). I've seem that Kirby had some scent tablets and drops to put in the bag but haven't tried them yet. If possible get charcoal bags, from what I hear they do a really good job.

    Newest Vacuum for my Collection!

Nice! I always thought the duo was better as stick/quick clean up vac. The front roll looks like it would make it lose airflow for deep cleaning if you had the upright. I really like how it has interchangeable batteries which is something all manufacture should use

    Post your favorite bagless vacuums!

The Bissel lift off Revolution A Bissel from the early 2000s. This thing was a bit heavy but was bulit much better than the ones they make now. The plastic was pretty solid, it had brush roll shut off next to the power button and cleaned pretty well. In my opinion the single cyconle was easier...

Is it me or is this Hoover Convertible extremely rare in the USA?

Nice Hoover! Metal body, headlight and a fabric bag! They inflate better than the vinyl. Also, stupid question but where do you find those mats with the Hoover logo on it? I kinda been wanting one.

    Vacuum Buying Question...

Don't feel bad! I got Dirt Devil Ultra for the very fact it was the only bagged and direct air (It's weird but I like seeing the bag puff up) hand vac still being made and it worked pretty well for the piece. Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with buying a cheep vac for looks as long as like...

    DirtDevil Ultra hand vac.

I went ahead and got it. To my surprise it worked really well! Only problem I have with it is I don't know how to properly loop the cord. Right here just wrapped it around the head and then put it in the loop. BTW know of any better bags? I know the DD bags are single layer so if there's any...

Dirty, Avalir... Can it be redeemed?

They paid that much?! You at least think they would have taken better care of it. I can't believe they used it without a bag...

Vacuum tech ama on reddit opinions

@Bryan I pretty are Kirbys sealed machines. There's a gasket at the base where the nozzle attaches to, one where the emp-tor attaches to, the rubber boot where the outer bag attaches to the emp-tor and the membrane (Rubber?) where the filter bag attaches to the adapter. They're filtration is...

    Barber-Shop-Vac

@huskyvacs I've seen those before it's called an Eyevac. It's basically a much more convenient dust pan and some are touchless. Also, how did the Rigid have you much carbon dust on It? I use those all the time and never seen that happen. I do always use bags in them though.

    DirtDevil Ultra hand vac.

@broomvac Now that mention I found someone in the comments on Amazon who's using Kenmore cloth bags in it. It seems like a interesting project to try out. I'm honestly surprised Royal themselves aren't selling a better version of it. They do make one of the bagless version.

    DirtDevil Ultra hand vac.

Thanks for the replies. I really wish they still made more hand vacs like this. I like the idea of it being bagged. Anyways I might get it just because it's on sale just to have it (I like the way it looks) and get a better one too. But really guys. I appreciate your input!

I was looking for a handvacs to replace my shark pet perfect (Good suction horrible quality) and came across the Ultra which appears to be a cheaped Royal Prince or Kirby Hachette. Anyways it's on sale and I was wondering if it's worth picking up. I'm not going to heavly use it i just need for...

probably for the first time, a separator water vac sold by a department store chain

@kirbylux77 Really? Last year I got a ordered a fully loaded Kiby G4 and since they ran out they sent me a G7D. There was some metal polish left on it and they sent two spot removers by mistake but they corrected it and sent me extra bags for the trouble. They're bags filter really well but...

Worlds first BAGGED Dyson is born

That's awesome! There's just something about a bagged Dyson that really gets. Wonder what James would think lol! Are you going to make a video demonstrating it? And if you don't mind would tell tell us how you made it? I really find custom made stuff interesting.
