    new Hoover Insight Commercial

@gsheen . . . Thanks for the URL. First thing I noticed was the "Create Your Own Brand" blurb all over their brochure PDF. I know one model, the polisher, is sold by Oreck here in the U.S. and a commercial vac they displayed, I think, may be sold under the Nilfisk brand. Thanks again...

"Impulse" lunch break auction buy - Compact Revolution

Great find . . . Congratulations, the price is really great. Depending upon model and rarity (old AirWay uprights, the GE Roll-Easy, etc.) things usually can go overboard on eBay. Shipping fees are also getting a bit silly too. Enjoy!

    A new toy

@blackheart . . . You sound like a very thoughtful shopper and I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it.

    Eureka powermite

Whatever works . . . Your Eureka PowerMite (Model 930A) looks just great for someone who lives in small digs, who does frequent small jobs or who's looking to supplement a direct-air vacuum that has no tools or produces low suction if it does. The 930A's a little limited tool-wise but generic...

@pr-21 Hi Bud, Thanks much for the info. Venson

    Does the world need this???

I wonder . . . Speaking of convenience and clean, I wonder if the thing can be popped out of position and put in the dishwasher.

    Aerus Vacuums

@bimmer740 Hi, I don't know if it still does but Nilfisk sold the Eureka power nozzle as an option for some time. I think now the Wessel Werk nozzle may be being picked up. Rainbow debuted its first model fitted for power nozzle use with a Eureka nozzle. It's great that you have a central...

    Aerus Vacuums

@bimmer740 I agree. We're all entitled to like what we like and buy what we want to buy bimmer740. I have also owned the Electrolux Silverado but mine came with the rectangular cast-metal PN prior the plastic el-shape version. The paint job on mine matched the gray color of the cleaner. I do...

    Does the world need this???

Cheap? Maybe . . . The drawer vac can be used with your central vac system or an independent but dedicated vac that mounts under the counter. The other issue of cost is that they recommend this device for whisking away wet stuff too like peelings, etc. That requires a special catch-all to...

    Eureka vibra beat

@powermate1970 Hi, There may be a few still around in the stores. They are the same design but made of plastic now. If you want the authentic, go to a Sears and "coax" someone to check in the room that keeps the vacuum department's surplus items. If not, a local vac shop should be able to...

    Does the world need this???

" . . . What ever happened to a dustpan?" They hooked that up to a central vac too. :)

    Does the world need this???

Hi, I suppose I qualify as a card carrying capitalist but sometimes I wonder. I've just come upon the Drawer Vac. It's half vacuum, half garbage disposal? Check out the link below and tell me if this would work for you in your kitchen. Venson http://drawervac.com/

    new Hoover Insight Commercial

Hoover brand . . . Sebo/Windsor design Hi, Interesting, its brushroll has nice coverage. However, save for LED panel, it seems nearly the same as the Sebos I've seen right down to the HEPA. Being "would a rose by any other name smell as sweet" why did TTI bother branding this specific item as...

    Aerus Vacuums

@bimmer740 Hi, Thanks for the broader view proving that for at least some of us it's not all about one brand or vacuum. However, the Electrolux/Aerus PN is not the only PN with an el. Both Sebo and Lindhaus offer similar, and have more features. Before I purchased my Miele Capricorn I had a...

    OMFG!!!

It goes either way . . . There are lots of people prepared to sell at reasonable prices -- then again there are many that are not. I have seen many a Kirby literally ready for the junk heap that some seller was expecting a couple of hundred dollars or more for. Why? Because it was a Kirby...

    Aerus Vacuums

@bagintheback . . . Hoover, Kenmore and Eureka have put out some very good power nozzles in past and present. However, I think the assessment of "good," no matter where it comes from, is by user's judgement of things due to "surface cleaning". It great to have a vac that swoops up whatever...

    Aerus Vacuums

@eurekaprince . . . Thanks for the link to the map. I was very interested to find that Mexico is marked red as Lux territory. Wonder if rowing across the Gulf of Mexico could get me the Lux "Intelligence." They use 120-volt AC I'm told :) Venson

Eureka 1934B Attachment Set, does it work on these.

I agree . . . The standard tool set that hooks on over the brush chamber may fit but its not worth the expense -- or time. I have had this type of upright and tools and it's not worth the bother. A lightweight, 60 buck or less straight suction canister would be the better buy.

    Aerus Vacuums

@eurekaprince . . . I would love to see the Lux International's "Intelligence" here but, to my understanding, the company has an agreement of some sort with Aerus not to sell here in the State. I think they are nonetheless somehow connected as both use the "Clean Home" banner for their vacuum...

    Aerus Vacuums

Aerus Guardian Upright . . . I'm told that if you want to keep friends and significant others you should never discuss religion or politics. I have to add one more category -- Electrolux. Nonetheless, I'll say what I think and be done with it. After all I had my very own Silverado back in the...
