    Henry 200

While trying to distract myself from a vile hangover I figured I'd do a short review of the latest style of Numatic Henry. The 200 Original. There are now 3 sizes of Henry available. The 160 compact, 200 Original and 240 Professional. My main machine is a Kirby Sentria II and my secondary...

manual or automatic height adjustment for uprights and power nozzles

Bonded on underlay..... Sorry... but bonded on underlay usually means cheaper quality flooring. And I'd expect this type of carpet to show the floorboards all day long. I used to work in the flooring industry, both in sales and fitting. A 'proper' carpet with a woven backing shouldn't be...

manual or automatic height adjustment for uprights and power nozzles

wooden floors underneath can sometimes leave their imprint.. This is nothing to do with the type of vacuum and more to do with cheaper quality carpets and underlay that wear and flatten down much quicker.

    Sebo X4 Pet ECO BOOST

WELL..... I wasn't aware I'd even stated my sexuality in this thread...... It's rather rude to just 'assume'. Where Chris uses his vacuum cleaner to actually dust, I use a microfibre cloth. I couldn't be bothered faffing on with the vacuum THAT much. I'm not saying how Chris dusts is wrong...

    Vacuum salesman....

Probably in the completely wrong place, but.... A little old lady answered a knock on the door one day, only to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner. ‘Good morning,’ said the young man. ‘If I could take a couple of minutes of your time, I would like to...

    Sebo X4 Pet ECO BOOST

Well Alex, sadly my bus is knackered and I'm sat waiting for a fitter to come and brining it back to life, so I'll have to come run you over some other day

    Balding Dyson brushroll

I'll let it get a bit worse and then get on to Dyson regarding a replacement. As Ive said already this is my grandparents machine and they have 95% wall to wall carpet and the black carbon brushes being a bit tatty isn't going to affect carpet performance so there is no great rush at the...

    Sebo X4 Pet ECO BOOST

Maraboutsebo - yes its the larger dusting brush I got. Genuine sebo part obviously :) In regards to power, i haven't noticed any difference. And its not like 200w is going to make any difference on an upright OMHO And Alex.... I'm back at work tomorrow so I'll come run you over with my bus...

    Sebo X4 Pet ECO BOOST

Yes I did think it was reacting quicker and adjusting with more accuracy but wasn't too sure as its a long time since I last had an Auto X machine.... plus all our carpets have changed since too. I've just found my old thread on the last Sebo X machine I had..... The older style X4 Pet bought...

    Balding Dyson brushroll

My grandparents have a DC50 that is less than a year old. It has had very little use as they are both elderly and struggle with vacuuming - so I tend to go and do it for them and take my own machine. However today I got theirs out to see if the filters need their first wash yet (they didn't)...

    Sebo X4 Pet ECO BOOST

I'm also a fan of the new soft start motors. Thats a nice touch too!

    Sebo X4 Pet ECO BOOST

I think it lowers it a substantial amount.... certainly enough for the machine to feel heavier. You can also feel it sticking to flatter carpets as it is creating a seal between the base of the machine and the floor covering. Defiantly not a gimmick and is a feature that will be very handy on...

    Sebo X4 Pet ECO BOOST

Just thought I'd do a quick thread on my new Sebo. I've jumped ship from Kirby for the time being and the Sebo is my new daily driver! I'd originally gone to John Lewis and was planning on buying their 'exclusive' X4 Excel machine at £279.99. However once I got there this plan went out the...

Hoover C1300 & Electrolux Turbo Super 2 - Free to a good home.

I'd be able to collect them! :) I'm interested in the C1300 and I could collect the twin turbo for Chris (turbo500) at the same time if you wanted? I'm quite local to you so I could collect at a time thats good for you..... Sunday would be good for me if that would be okay?

What do you think of the new numatics?

I think they are superb. I've got a new style Henry that was made at the start of 2016. It's my current daily driver and has seen some heavy use since I bought it. The new floor tool is superb. And if you don't like the plastic base of the floor tool you can always buy the steel base floor tool...

    red soleplate FOR DC01

Theres a brand new one listed on ebay but I couldnt justify spending £40 on a DC01... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Dyson-DC01-SWIVEL-Soleplate-VERY-RARE-RED-Brand-New-De-Stijl-/251982231317?hash=item3aab4fb715:g:YD8AAOSw~OdVbwwg

Dyson DC25 Post motor filter popping loose.

The filter needs replacing. They say they're washable lifetime filters but they DO need replacing after a few years. It won't hurt the machine running without it, but filtration won't be so good. If you do decide to replace it, ensure you buy a genuine Dyson part as the cheaper copy parts can...

Numatic James and his claim to fame

Was stood ironing the other week and had the music videos blasting on the TV... Glanced up at this song because I liked it and decided I'd download it at some point... and I could of sworn I saw a dancing vacuum cleaner! I DID!!! haha James... what a little romancer. She should of taken George...
