    One sorry looking Sebo....

Yeah its the only vacuum I've spotted in this particular building. Judging by the chunk of plastic missing I think the cleaning lady may of possibly dropped it down the stairs at some point LOL

    One sorry looking Sebo....

I've noticed this kicking about in one of our office buildings at work but only recently had chance to take a few pics without anybody seeing and people finding out about my secret vacuum fetish LOL I think if vacuums could talk this one would be crying "please...cut my plug off and put me out...

What happened to the UK members?

I'm still kicking about... just LOL I browse this site most days if I've got time to kill, I just rarely post. Not a member of the elitist private Facebook group as I no longer use Facebook... So if I find the desire to post anything vac related it will be on here :)

    New daily drivers

lmao!! Have you ever seen the film Matilda? I like Miss Trunchbull's idea of how to deal with naughty children! I'll have to hammer some nails through my wardrobe doors http://https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=61iIYwcpN_w

    New daily drivers

And the Miele replaces the Kirby. I still have the Kirby. However it has been cast aside and hidden in the back of my wardrobe. Why? Quite simply, I'm hugely disappointed with it. It is the second Kirby I've bought brand new. The previous being a Diamond Edition. The Diamond Edition...

    New daily drivers

So why such a change? Well the Henry replaces the DC75 Cinetic. The Dyson HAD been my backup machine to the Kirby. But we have had a LOT of building work done to the house and I knew I needed something a bit more suited to cleaning up rubble than a Dyson or Kirby. So I waved goodbye to the...

    New daily drivers

My 'second' vac is the newest version Numatic Henry. Kitted out with the optional Airo Brush and smaller Hairo Brush. Henry being for DIY jobs, cleaning the car and generally things that I don't want to ruin the Miele on.

    New daily drivers

A few months ago my daily drivers were a Kirby Sentria II and a Dyson DC75 Cinetic Animal. I've had a slight change about since then though. So my main vacuum is the Miele C3 Cat & Dog. I got an absolute bargain on this. Miele have updated this model slightly. And I mean SLIGHTLY. Going...

    DC33 problem

This cyclone seal failure seems to be a problem that is featuring on all modern dysons. I had Dyson send me a new cyclone unit for a two year old DC28c due to this fault.

    DC33 problem

There are seals within the cyclone unit itself..... (picture included) They start to fail and it means high levels of dirt make it through to the filter. they literally drop to bits. The picture is of a DC33 cyclone with a failed seal. Unless you can find somewhere selling the seals I'd...

    Faulty Kirby! Help needed

Thanks for confirming guys. I just wanted to be sure before I ordered a new switch. I'm more than capable when it comes to replacing it.... I've previously replaced both front and rear motor bearings on a Diamond Edition. I think they are pretty easy to take apart and a pleasure to work on...

    Faulty Kirby! Help needed

I've owned my Sentria II since new and in about a months time it will be 3 years old. About two months ago I noticed that when I turned the machine on the headlight flickered. I'd press the power switch and the light would flash on for a second, off for a second and then come back on and stay...

Kirby shampoo system review (pic heavy)

All the after pictures are taken immediately after shampooing as the natural light was starting to fade as it got dark outside. I returned the following day to give another thorough vacuuming with the Kirby to remove the crystallised shampoo deposits. Carpets look much fresher and all traffic...

Kirby shampoo system review (pic heavy)

Now... for the most surprising result of all.... Remember the blood stains I mentioned in the bedroom? They were blotted with a damp cloth the previous day when they first occurred. NO pre-treating has been performed. 3 passes with the Kirby shampoo system andddd..... Before & After.....

Kirby shampoo system review (pic heavy)

Some more after pictures of the living room.... The traffic marks by the kitchen doorway have improved vastly. Carpet pile is restored. There looks to be a darker strip in front of the sofa.... This is just the way the carpet pile is stood as it dries.

Kirby shampoo system review (pic heavy)

After pictures.... The biggest difference in the living room is the rug by the patio door..... BEFORE AND AFTER..... This rug got 3 passes with the shampoo system. Everywhere else got two passes and then I went over it all again with the carpet fluffer only to spruce up the carpet pile

Kirby shampoo system review (pic heavy)

Everywhere got a VERY thorough going over with the Kirby in vacuum mode prior to shampooing. Here are some before pictures..... Notice how soiled the small rug is by the sliding patio door. And there is traffic soiling by the doorway into the kitchen....

Kirby shampoo system review (pic heavy)

I did a shorter review around 4 years ago when I first bought my Kirby brand new. However this time we have a much more realistic challenge and some surprising results. So this is my grandparents house. They are both in their 80's and I go over once a month or so to give the place a thorough...

    Henry 200

Electro.... yes these are made in the UK but this particular model is dry use only. For wet pickup you want a Numatic Charles.... or even better get the George as it is a 3-in-1 extraction machine.
