They don't make synthetic hepa bags for the upright machine at the moment. While the domestic cylinder E1 uses them as standard, the commercial Evolution bags only come in paper - I think this is to maybe keep running costs as low as possible?

The filter has had it. They don't last forever and this is a common thing on the DC25. Either use it without the exhaust filter or fit a new one and it will be fine. I'd avoid getting a copy part and go with a genuine replacement part

Haha really glad you're pleased with your new machines. The Ball Animal 2 has to be one of the nicest Dyson uprights imho. I agree about it being a little strange the tangle free turbine head being housed on the machine but you soon get used to it.

Vacfan1982 & Somertons25 While the V8/V10 & LightBall/Ball2 take the same style quick release tools the sizing fitment is very different with the diameter of the cordless tools being a lot smaller. Therefore the tools from the cordless machines do not fit the mains powered ones.

Somertons25 I had a V8 a while back and personally I prefer the V10. Charge time on the V8 is 5 hours, whereas the V10 is 3.5 hours. The V10 also offers a bigger bin and a longer run time. I suppose only you can decide if it is worth paying for the latest model. If you are going to use it...
