    My bargain Sebo X7 Pet!

Yeah I'd heard the same thing about why they changed to the new style pedal. I don't mind the new style pedal too much I just wish they had kept that little locking tab!

    My bargain Sebo X7 Pet!

My Henry Xtra came with the new style airo brush however I'm not sure if I preferred the older style... the brushes seem a bit softer on the new style head. Not sure if that's just my imagination though. Not that it really matters as I only really use the supplied parquet tool as Henry is mainly...

    My bargain Sebo X7 Pet!

Quite the bargain indeed! Will Sebo honour the 5 year warranty given where you bought it from? I bought a basic X7 and an E1 Komfort a few months back as a cleaning duo. Couldn't quite get away with the auto height adjustment so returned the X7 and drove down to Manchester Vacs to try out...

Finally a new vacuum I am impressed with

No idea why Numatic machines over there are so expensive.... James retails around £109 British pounds / $139 dollars in the UK. A Henry is the same price pretty much..... you can usually pick a Henry up for £100 over here. The top of the range Henry Xtra that comes with 3 full size floor heads...

    Commercial Vacuum options take #2

While the Sebo Mechanical is a fantastic machine - I have the UK version, the Evolution 350 as my household daily driver, the hard floor performance is somewhat poor when it comes to anything other than dust and hair. Any large particles like grit it will just scatter, so I invested in some...

My two new Sebo machines - Evolution 350 & Airbelt E1 Komfort

I thought about trying to get one of the little latches to hold the synthetic bag in place.... but the bag inlet hole that the bag pushes on to also looks different.... mine is just a plain plastic tube where yours looks like it has some sort of seal or stopper on it. I guess I'll just stick...

My two new Sebo machines - Evolution 350 & Airbelt E1 Komfort

Vacuumdevil I found this video that gives a better look inside at the bag docking system your version of the machine got.... I guess he saying 'you learn something new every day' is true! I do wish they would make a synthetic HEPA bag for the UK version as I know the performance would stay...

My two new Sebo machines - Evolution 350 & Airbelt E1 Komfort

Vacuumdevil I will apologise now for thinking you were some idiot who didn't know what they were talking about LOL It would seem your suggestion is right, for your country at least. The version of the machine your country got does indeed take the same bags as the X series. Our version...

My two new Sebo machines - Evolution 350 & Airbelt E1 Komfort

Vacuumdevil The Sebo Evolution and BS36 range take a completely different style of bag to the X machines. The bags you suggested would not fit. These are the bags my machine uses..... Sebo only make them in paper https://sebo.co.uk/store/evolution/filters/1055-pack-of-10-bs-bags/...

My two new Sebo machines - Evolution 350 & Airbelt E1 Komfort

They don't make synthetic hepa bags for the upright machine at the moment. While the domestic cylinder E1 uses them as standard, the commercial Evolution bags only come in paper - I think this is to maybe keep running costs as low as possible?

My two new Sebo machines - Evolution 350 & Airbelt E1 Komfort

My Airbelt E1 is the Komfort model so comes with the standard Kombi nozzle and an air driven turbo nozzle. The turbo nozzle is more than enough for our short cut pile carpeting. I paid around £180 for this as it was on offer and then also ordered extra bags and filters. It has on board...

My two new Sebo machines - Evolution 350 & Airbelt E1 Komfort

Hi guys.... haven't posted on here in ages. I've recently bought two new daily divers I wanted to share with you all..... Previously had a Dyson upright and a Dyson V10 but decided I wanted something with a more robust feel to it. So I sold the two Dyson machines on eBay and bought two Sebo...

DC25 keeps spitting out the exhaust filter?

The filter has had it. They don't last forever and this is a common thing on the DC25. Either use it without the exhaust filter or fit a new one and it will be fine. I'd avoid getting a copy part and go with a genuine replacement part

    I bought a Dyson V10!

Haha really glad you're pleased with your new machines. The Ball Animal 2 has to be one of the nicest Dyson uprights imho. I agree about it being a little strange the tangle free turbine head being housed on the machine but you soon get used to it.

    I bought a Dyson V10!

Somertons25 The adaptors are £3 to buy from Dyson. Although I think if you ring them when you register the machine they might send one out for free https://www.dyson.co.uk/support/journey/spare-details.967370-01.211970-01.html Not sure if they do an adaptor for the cordless machines though...

    I bought a Dyson V10!

Vacfan1982 & Somertons25 While the V8/V10 & LightBall/Ball2 take the same style quick release tools the sizing fitment is very different with the diameter of the cordless tools being a lot smaller. Therefore the tools from the cordless machines do not fit the mains powered ones.

    I bought a Dyson V10!

Luxkid1980 No, I've never seen that heater for sale in the UK.

    I bought a Dyson V10!

Somertons25 I had a V8 a while back and personally I prefer the V10. Charge time on the V8 is 5 hours, whereas the V10 is 3.5 hours. The V10 also offers a bigger bin and a longer run time. I suppose only you can decide if it is worth paying for the latest model. If you are going to use it...

Why not spend less than $30 and fix the Dyson??

Dyson V10 run time and performance demonstration

HonestJoe68 The new filter design looks like it will be very easy to wash. Only time will tell how it will hold up to regular washing though. Yeah my car gets looked after to the extreme haha it's my baby. And I agree.... You can not bat Dysons customer service
