    The brushroll looks to be in good condition so i guess you could try removing that piece the worst thing that could happen i imagine would be you'd have to buy a new brushroll If it's doing it while you're using I'd try adjusting the height might be to low

    I've cleaned mine before in the wash on gentle/delicate usually with mild detergent, Clorox 2 and that lysol disinfectant addictive if you stick it in the dryer use an air fluff setting with no heat best to air dry though
