    Oreck XL insight help.

I was replacing a cord for a friend on an oreck xl insight, but upon opening it up the fan was jammed. usually this is an easy fix but oreck made this model so that you can take the fan casing off without taking off the fan. I thought I wouldn’t have to take the fan off, but I can’t take...

2001 Hoover Steamvac Widepath Max Extract LS with a little issue

Maybe an idea to fix it Is the hose too short to recuff? If so maybe you could take a bigger hose to fit around the pipe. Just an idea I had on my mind.

    Kirby 518 parts

Hello! I’ve had a Kirby 518 for awhile I bought on facebook. i was told it was taken to a repair shop after it was purchased at a garage sale. The shop swapped a ton of parts to disguise it at a d50, so I’m looking for some 518 parts such as the trim, the decal on the nozzle, and the bag. If...

Dirt devil hand vac motor odor

Hard to explain I would say it smells similar to a burning electric odor. In this case how much do you think brushes will cost

Regina Housekeeper Upright Vacuum Model 6308-A - Gets Clogged Leaving Brush Housing

If you sold it to a collector who wants that specific machine maybe. But if someone buys it thinking it can be their main vacuum cleaner they will be unclogging it for a while. If you don’t end up selling it and if you have the attachments I would use it for cleaning couches or cars.

Royal CR5130Z and how to get it to last until 2100

Simple maintenance All I would do is change the belts and other parts regularly. And if it’s still working for years to come be sure to check the bearings and carbon brushes.

    Thrift store find

I just got this from my local thrift store. I was happy to find it because I haven’t seen a single vacuum there in about 3 years. All this little guy needed was a good cleaning and a brush roll lubrication. Works like a dream. (I’m going back today to buy a rotary phone I saw)

    good buy?

I was wondering if this would be a good buy. I have this extremely annoying carpet. It clogs every vacuum with a brush roll (that’s not a direct air motor) I try to use on it. I’m considering purchasing a Bissell featherweight. I been needing a good secondary vacuum to use for quick pickups. I’m...

A YouTube channel named Vacuum Facts doesn’t know how bagged vacuums works.

What?? How could anyone make such claims on vacuums if he has (what I assume) little to no experience. It really annoys me what he said. When I fix people’s vacuums, It’s all bagless! They clog so much easier.

    New thrift store find

I found this oreck 9100 at my local thrift store. It was NASTY but it cleaned up beautifully, and looks brand new. I am not sure what year it’s from but it cleans great. The fan is metal and slightly chipped but it makes not excess noise.

Another person asking what vacuum to buy...

Maybe an Oreck? I would recommend a oreck or simplicity freedom. As long as you don’t have super thick carpet this would work perfect. The only issue is they don’t have attachments.
